Ate here on a whim this afternoon. This may be the best brisket I’ve ever eaten, certainly better than anything in Seattle.

Yummmmm! Amazing bbq, so amazing I had them cater our wedding. Food is always good here. The service here is friendly and I love eating outside for lunch.

When I moved to the Seattle area from Virginia five years ago, I was warned, «don’t bother ordering bbq anywhere out here, you’ll just be disappointed.» And, until two weeks ago when I tried the Barbeque Bucket in Granite Falls, that was true. I’m not a fan of traditional mild bbq sauce(even back east!) but their rhubarb habanero sauce is FANTASTIC. In fact, I bought a bottle on my second visit last week. It’s so yummy that I want to eat it on just about everything. I’m also really, really picky about my meat(no gristle or visible fat) and theirs passes the muster with flying colors. It’s definitely worth the hike to Granite Falls.

I got take out tonight with my girlfriend. Pulled pork, a cold rack of ribs(I saw the special on facebook), and a hot link on a bun. I must say, without the sauce on the meat you can really appreciate the time that went into smoking these meats. Very very good stuff. Would be 5 stars if it wasn’t so pricey. Also, where did your website go? It was helpful to have your menu available online.

Unbelievable dining experience! On our way back from a hike on the Mountain Loop Highway, friends and I rushed through a few yellow lights to make it to Barbeque Bucket just before the 8 o’clock close. The owners and staff welcomed us inside as the last customers of the day. Then came the food. Oh boy! I lived in Alabama for a while, and I never thought I would eat BBQ as good as southern BBQ in the Pacific Northwest. However, Barbeque Bucket comes about as close as you can get! The BBQ pork sandwiches taste incredible. With three containers of BBQ sauce(with varying degrees of heat) on the table, you never need to worry about a dry BBQ sandwich. You can drench the perfectly cooked pork with as much sauce as your heart desires. No dinky buns either — the rolls at Barbeque Bucket taste amazing! The cornbread also blew my mind. On top of the delicious food(which deserves 5 stars on its own), the hospitality of the owner and staff truly put Barbeque Bucket in another league. Super friendly, conscientious, and thoughtful — not to mention they can whip up a pretty good post-hike meal. I highly recommend Barbeque Bucket. I will definitely return after hiking in the Mountain Loop area. Thanks!

A group of five of us stopped here for lunch after a day of hiking to Lake 22. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Orders are placed at the counter and one is given a number to take back to their table. The only wait service offered is when food is delivered. Food delivery was a bit slow but maybe that’s because they were busy. Bottled beer is offered along with wine. Although I prefer draft beer, after hiking all day long a bottled beer did just fine. My wife and I ordered a couple of bottles of Red Hook ESB for $ 3.50 each. Since there is no wait service be sure to order a couple beers right up front so that you don’t have to wait in line again. I requested our other beers as soon as our food was delivered. My wife and I shared a Cheeseburger and Fries for $ 9. I requested the onion and tomato on the side. I received the onion but not the tomato. The burgers are delivered dry with the condiments on the table. The fries are hand-cut so not my fave. The burger was ok. We also shared a couple of sides: Cheesy Potatoes and Baked Beans for $ 2.50 each. The portions were about 1 cup each. The cheesy potatoes were baked shredded hash-browns with creamy cheese. The baked beans were a bit sweet with zero kick to them. Over-all, not a bad place to eat. I just need a bit more than what is offered here after a day of hiking.

It was a hot July day and we were hungry after a long drive when we happened upon this oasis of succulent ribs and brisket. Amazing barbecue, sauce and friendly service. Because I don’t just hand out 5 stars and I have to give you something to work on because you’ve mastered the BBQ — the sides were lacking flavor. Fries were decent but coleslaw and Mac&Cheese were bland. We’ll be back next time in the neighborhood.

Great BBQ — so glad that we saw the sign as we were driving through. Had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and loved the smokey flavor of the meat. BBQ sauces are great as well! Would definitely recommend

Great local BBQ after a long hike up Lake 22. Staff is friendly & seems to be family operated. We had ribs, coleslaw, & baked beans. All was delicious, array of house made BBQ sauces are awesome ! I loved the jalapeño rhubarb! Price point is little high for the area but, we enjoyed it:)

The SO and I stopped in here after hiking up to the Ice Caves. The place is small but clean and the staff are very friendly. I ordered the beef brisket and it was ok. It seemed a bit dry to me and I wasn’t overly impressed with their BBQ sauce either. The thing with BBQ is it’s very subjective. What one person may absolutely rave about, another may be «meh». I’m of the«meh» group with Barbeque Bucket. The SO got the ribs and they weren’t too bad, but the sauce, again, threw me off. Not saying I wouldn’t eat here again, just saying I wouldn’t go out of my way to do it.

We both had beef brisket and it alone was worth the trip. We added sauce later to try it but the brisket is delicious without help.

OMG! A 110% stop after a PNW hike. One word — «RIBS»! We tried the pulled pork and brisket as well. It was all delicious with a variety of barbecue sauces to tantalize your tastebuds. Our favorite was the rhubarb habanero. Talked to the owners about the burgers and they are hand-pressed every morning. We will try those next time around with, extra! made in-house, dill pickles that we tried as well. There’s nothing like a good grub after hiking. Let’s not forget the amazing local brews from In the Shadow Brewing out of Arlington. Can we get a wheelchair outta here, we have a temporary disease called, meat coma. These guys are killing it! Such a sweet family.

This is a fantastic spot to grab some post-hike food! Their venue has a good amount of tables, the servers worked like family and they were so friendly and checked on how we liked our food, were able to accommodate our split checks as well as some of our party’s dietary restrictions… and the food was fresh and so good! The ribs and beef brisket were tender and juicy. Loved having 4 sauces on the table to try(rhubarb habanero! Mmm), as well as the toasted bread the brisket sandwich came on. Though we were ravenous, we left very satisfied and without food coma! :D. The Corn bread and cheesy potatoes were enjoyed as well. Will be back again !

Excellent baby back ribs! A healthy portion of meat on a full rack. Very nice and friendly service. About 4 – 5 tables inside with other tables outside on a nice deck. Limited days it is open. Three wonderful sauces available table side, or they will pack up some cups for take out. My favorite was rhubarb habanero.

A friend and I were hungry after a hike at Mt Pilchuck and saw this place on the way to the mountain, so we decided to stop in for lunch on the way back through. I cannot put our thoughts on The Barbeque Bucket any more succinctly than the text I received later that evening from my friend: «I keep burping BBQ, and it’s still delicious» Keep on keepin’ on, BBQ bucket!
