My friend and I got subs here and some pub chips. The pub chips were okay. They weren’t the best I have had. Some were too floppy, some too crispy. Just not right. The subs were made on store-bought bread, what looked like pre-sliced deli meat, and cheese then toasted. Then topped with lettuce tomato and onion. Next time I wouldn’t get a sub, would try their pizza instead.

It simply didn’t match the expectations I had going into it. The food was decent, not great. I guess I’m simply used to a certain type of pizza from a family owned joint. Will try it again someday.

Wow, just Wow! You have to see the size of these pies! I am happy to say, that I have gone here several times, and it is always consistent quality. The ingredients are fresh, the dough is flavorful and the sauce spot on. It is hard to get a good consistency in dough, as much of it relies on the water quality, but it is nice the flavor is there, and that is always by the chef. The slices are huge, and the prices moderate, but that is truth be told, because it is fresh, and not frozen dough going on a conveyor belt. You pay for quality, and freshness. Now they deliver too! It is the best NY style pizza in the area, and I cannot wait to try the calzone next! This is as close to home I can get, so thank you Frankies!

Great pizza and staff is good too. The bar next door is sketchy, but prices reasonable for beers. Traditional NY style with huge pieces to fold. Best pizza in town.

During a recent visit to see my family, my sister introduced me to Frankie’s Pizza. We both had a veggie(grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, cheese, etc.) served on a toasted hoagie. It was really good. The flavors were fantastic and I would definitely go back again! The only negative — they do seem a little pricey. It was over $ 20 for my sis and I have to each have a sandwich with a drink!

My family and I went there a few weeks back. The gentleman behind the counter was sitting texting on his phone, after making noise to get his attention to put in our order we paid 31 dollars for 2 pizzas. Granted they were HUGE and we had left overs for days. The woman working there was hugging and kissing her apparent boyfriend/husband. There is no service yet they expect a tip. When you don’t tip they loud enough for you and your child to hear call you a bastard. Will NEVER return!

Perhaps somewhat surprisingly, driving along 321, there are not too many places to eat in this area that are not chains — then you suddenly run into this Wal-Mart Supercenter with not one, but two places to eat(Frankie’s being one). Now Frankie’s is a chain, but it is at least a regional one, and while they might aspire to having 30 thousand locations one day, that day is probably a long way off. Sorry Frankie. Nonetheless, there are plenty of places around that have large slices of New York-style pie. Maybe not in Granite Falls, and that could set them apart — and it is a good slice. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area and do not crave any of the other fast-food joints.

The regional chain has done well repeating their successes. This Frankie’s is superior due to the employees they pulled from other locations that make it the place to be. There are nights I dream of getting some Frankie’s – this is the closest I can get to NY pizza!
