Granite Civic Park

Somewhat amazingly, even though I don’t even get to Granite Quarry all that often, I have actually been to this park on several occasions. And you know what? It is a nice little park.
Picnic shelter with plenty of space? Check.
Lots of spaces for the kids to run around? Check.
Even some nice playground equipment? Check.
There are really only two downsides.
One is that it’s in Granite Quarry. Luckily, it’s not far from one of our relatives. So close, in fact, that we can just about walk there, making it really convenient. I’ll call this one a push.
Two is that the parking situation isn’t that great. Again, because it’s close to our relatives, it’s not that bad — but for such a nice-​sized park, it could use a bit more parking. Still, if you’re looking for a little family outing, you’ll do fine.
