Delicious middle eastern food! Cute little order at the counter place with excellent falafel, baba, and lentil soup. Portions are generous and prices are a little high. Excellent vegetarian and meat options! Service is friendly and good. Can’t wait to go back! A little hard to find, but easy parking.

Excellent and authentic Lebanese food. The food was fresh, delicious, and quite healthy. I had the chicken shawarma w/rice and tabouli. It came with a veggie salad, pita bread, and garlic sauce. If you love fantastic and authentic food then give Abu’s a try. You will not be disappointed. Service was excellent, as well. Very friendly and helpful answering all my dumb questions about Lebanese food.

What a diamond in the rough. What it lacks in atmosphere it more than makes for in some the best middle eastern food I have had in ages. I highly recommend the sampler platter and the baklava is to die for. Do not miss this place.

If you are in Grants Pass and are craving some shawarma this is the place to go… and I’m pretty sure it’s the only place to go. It’s a no frills kind of restaurant with the addition of a few imported items for you to buy if you wish. It’s pretty obvious that it’s a family run operation, so you can be happy that you are supporting a locally-owned business. I ordered the beef and onion shawarma combo(to go). Some guy, who happened to be coming out of the place next door as I was heading to my car, commented on how tasty smelling the food was! When I got home to eat, I was pleased to find a nicely-sized portions of seasoned beef and grilled onions laying next to tasty rice pilaf. A handful of other sides and garlic sauce were conveniently in separate plastic containers. Considering the lack of diverse, ethnic restaurants in Grants Pass(especially when you are an SF Bay Area transplant) this place is a great find. I definitely will be back!

Abu’s Oasis Deli is one of the best shawarma I have have enjoyed. It is a traditional lebaneeze hill country dish. Additionally, they have a an Anise tea that is excellent. I highly recommend this food for the distinguishing pallet.

Of course there are rare times when you find a place so exacting, so culturally bound that you are struck by the fact that here you are in Oregon, eating food that feels like a million miles away. This is that place. For hummus, for halva and for the love of great cuisine make this a place to pickup a fantastic bite.

Just stopped here based on Unilocal reviews as a quick lunch spot off the I-5 and it was great! Delicious chicken schwarma wrap, nice people.

This was my first stop in my plan to visit a new restaurant or eat a new dish every Friday lunch. I ordered the chicken shawarma, and it was even better than the other reviews led me to expect. I have never had shawarma before, but the chicken and vegetables and sauce were so delicious with the soft pita bread that I might have to be even more adventurous in the future and try the lamb! Tabouli was also new to me, and it was also very good.

I’ve frequented Abu’s for at least the last 15+ years and I have always been very pleased with the food and service. One of my top 3 choices in the Rogue Valley. This is the first place I tried hummus, way back before people knew what it was and you could find it in the grocery store. It is still my favorite. As a vegetarian, there is a great selection(we usually get a sampler platter), but my husband, who spent almost 2 years in the Middle East, loves the lamb. The owners are friendly and the food is authentic. The Labanese coffee is a special treat. Highly recommend.

The place is authentic and awesome. We get the shawarma sandwiches to go all the time. For eat in try a sampler platter. Vegetarian friendly, not that that matters to me. Family owned and operated.

LOVE This place. This is one of my absolute go to places to eat, when I’m in the area visiting. Their shwarmas are fabulous, baklava is very tasty and the owners are super sweet, dormas are fresh and warm.

The best soup, grape leaves, hummus, beautiful lamb. Just walking in the door is a treat with all the great smells. Don’t forget a piece of baklava. It is a small homey restaurant where the owners will treat you like family! .

The food is good. I always get the m1 lamb and onion shawarma. It consistently tastes the same since the day one I visited this place while back when I was in college which is a good sign for the business. My only complain is that the men’s restroom has no hand soap. The soap dispenser handle is broken, so no soap coming out to wash hands. That’s why I can’t give them a 5 stars rating.

Excellent food. We had the lamb and onion shawarmas, Greek salad and hummus — all very flavorful. We were just driving through Grants Pass. Next time we’ll adjust our journey to make sure we can stop here for another meal.

Chicken shawarma is the best food I have ever had. I eat here at least once a week. Great food and great people.

Ordered the falafel pita sandwich and a large greek salad to go. The salad(cucumbers, olives, feta, tomato) was swimming in oil that leaked out of the styrofoam carton and onto my jeans :(and was not worth $ 11. The falafel was just a crumbly mess. About $ 19 for the two. The restaurant looks filthy(random stuff on the shelves, like the ish you store in your garage). The bathroom was old and dirty and used for storage. I love hole in the walls and food trucks, but for goodness sake work on the ambiance just a little. I won’t be back.

Decent strip center no frills greek deli style food. If you like looking at cardboard storage boxes, and a minimally stocked canned groceria, then this is your place. The food isn’t wonderful, but it’s good, and fairly priced. These folks just need to organize the place a little and maybe spend a week’s profit on some décor, and it could be really nice. I enjoyed a lamb dish that was very good.

First of all. I like ethnic food more than American food… which might beg the question, why do I live in Rogue River, OR. Secondly I enjoy familial businesses where an establishment is being operated by the owner/s or family, and they treat me in a friendly familial type way. I reside here in Southen Oregon which is filled with fast food, American style diners, Applebee’s, Denny’s, Della’s, Red Robin, Olive Garden, etc. bad American Chinese, steakhouses that can’t cook steak, take and bake pizza, 100 Mexican restaurants who’s menus all read and taste roughly the same, and so on… Then you have the occasional diamond in the rough like aptly named Abu’s Oasis Deli. Let me tell you, I love Abu’s Oasis deli. Adam and Ellie, the owners, one Greek the other Lebanese. They own and operate one of the best dining establishments in Grants Pass. The decour is nothing spectacular… they’d get more customers if they fancied the place up some and also if they served alcohol, which I don’t think they do. I don’t drink so it doesn’t really matter to me. I am happy enough with the way the place looks. It is a «deli» after all. I usually sit outside under an umbrella in a small outdoor seating area on the sidewalk/curb so I can smoke a cigarillo while I sip my Turkish coffee… News and Smokes is right next door. I like that they have a small selection of grocery type items and I have purchased some pomegranate juice and current juice and cherry juice from Lebanon I believe… so delicious. Whenever I come in they greet me with a smile and friendly conversation. I’ve been coming here long enough they know me by name and my preferences. I usually order a spicy lamb shawarma combo plate that comes with a small side Greek salad, tabbouleh, saffron rice with toasted almond, pita, and seared meat with onion and seasoning, so good. I also order a side of baba ghanoush and Turkish coffee. The bill including tip is around twenty dollars so I don’t come in as often as I would like, only because I don’t make the big bucks… otherwise I would eat here all the time. If you come for dinner, come somewhat early. I believe they close early. Enjoy.

Great food for lunch. I had the chicken and onion shawarma. It was about $ 10, came with tabouli, some veggies and green olives, freshly made pita and delicious flavored rice. The pita was warm and soft, very clearly homemade and delicious. The rice was perfectly flavored, as were the grilled chicken and onions. The ambiance was quite casual, as other reviews have mentioned, this place is a deli, meant more for carry out. They do have a few tables though and it’s an order at the counter kind of place. As far as good, cheap food, this place is great. The tea options on the menu looked pretty interesting. When I go back, I’m hoping to try some!
