Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Absolutely a FIVESTAR ~~ it was such a good price, so I was VERY suprised to see the room. COMPLETELY renovated from top to bottom, ac units, mattress, pillows, baseboards, tv’s, toilets, sink, floors, carpet, everything. Continental breakfast in the morning too! It’s a GREATDEAL. Perfect place to rest our head for the night. The front desk staff was super nice, and the rooms were very clean. Can’t beat the price!

Got the last hotel room within a 2-hour driving radius on a saturday. The last thing you want is to be stuck either sleeping in your car at a rest stop or being forced to drive two more hours to Redding at midnight. So what? The place has that great kitschy ambiance of the 1950’s, it is not fancy(keep driving to Medford then you whiners… and hope the entire town is not already sold out) and it is basic. I just desperately needed a place to drop anchor after driving 10 hours. The owner and his wife were incredibly sweet and helpful for this exhausted traveler. Would definitely stay here again!

Listen, you’re looking for a place to lay your head for a few hours on a road trip, this will do. I’d say it’s one notch below a motel 6. Rooms: the rooms are 60’s/70’s style. Pink tile in the bathrooms with old style single pane frosted windows. The walls on the room are teal. Upside: it’s do-able. This worked just fine for a place to rest for a few hours. Now, it’s not new and trendy like a Holiday Inn Express, but it does the job. It has a waffle maker and cereal for the«included breakfast». Downside: The mattresses are a little rigid and not thick. The refrigerator in the room didn’t work. The smoke detector went off when we took a shower. The waffle maker had crumbs in it(I was the first one to use it). The syrup container sticky. The orange juice tastes like sugar and Sunny Delight. Now, for the part that makes it or breaks it for me: the staff. This appears to be family run with the owners living in an attached family quarters to the main office. Friendly? Not so much. Too the point and not very outgoing. While checking in the woman kept sticking her head thru the door into the family quarters and talking in another language to a guy who wouldn’t show his face. I don’t understand why these private business aren’t more appreciative of their customers. Honestly, the staff make or break a place for me. So. Would I stay here again? Maybe, just because the price. If there was an equal place to stay at the same price with friendlier staff, I would go there for my next stay.
