Not only do they sell homemade baked goods(cheesecake, muffins, tiramisu), but make homemade sandwich rolls and hamburger buns. Owners — Roy and his wife, are both friendly and welcoming. I ordered the BLT sandwich with chips and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice on the side. A great pick me up before hitting the road again. Highly recommend and will be back for some more!

I love Blue Stone! I get takeout regularly and it’s consistently yummy. Everything is fresh and made to order. They just added burgers and fries and, with that, their sinfully delicious loaded tots. Yum! I’m typically a slave to their cheesy chicken tortilla soup but today I opted for the Caribbean chicken. great choice! It was light and flavorful. Paired with a slice of their freshly baked bread made for a perfect little meal on a rainy day. I’m excited to see that they’re expanding, as they can be quite busy during the lunch hour and things can get a little crowded. It’s great to see a nice family-owned business succeed in this town.

Croissants sandwich was good, tuna sandwich not so good. Coffee watered down, hot chocolate was OK. I asked for a sandwich on a bagel instead of ban. The guy charged full price plus the bagel-rip off! Overall OK but overpriced!

A bit pricey and nothing special about the food. Sorry people but I wasn’t sold on ever coming back.

Excellent BLT! The chips are awesome too! Really good mocha too! Kids loved their sandwiches, and with our picky kids, that’s saying something!

Had a cookie, a sandwich and a coffee. Every other bite I was pulling a fuzz off :(totally grossed out. Food wasn’t that great to begin with, but I don’t do hair or fuzz. Haven’t been in a long time. Don’t plan to return.

Religious, rude, condescending staff & owners; mediocre food. We have tried many times to have a happy healthy meal here and only once has the staff been polite or the food decent. If you value respect and common human decency, avoid this church group and go somewhere healthier.

My first bakery experience since movin back to Grants Pass. I should have passed this right up. I walk in and the place is a cluster-fuck of tables. Can barely move around. They say fresh baked goods and I had a freezing cold blueberry muffin. Huh? Yea, not so fresh baked. The counter area was cluttered with«stuff». The tops of the display cases were cluttered with more«stuff». I saw one of the workers behind the counter grabbing multiple thick slices of quiche with her bare hands. How hard is it to wear a plastic glove if that is how you are going to choose to handle the food? I felt very disoriented when the whole time i was there. They also charged full price even though I brought in my own travel mug for my latte. Most places will give a small«environmental» discount. I definately will not be returning there, nor will I be taking my out of town friends there when they visit beautiful Grants Pass, OR.

Coffee shop-bakery hybrids are in a realm of their own when it comes to the Northwest, and Blue Stone has a perky potential to it’s shortcomings. Digs: It’s jagged L-shaped property views the main strip of Grants Pass(or the classic«downtown»); the usual suspects here — local artists’ paintings scatter the walls, color scheme safe for the demographic; chalk board menu’s with quirky names to boot; shimmering glass display of gluten and small non-gluten selection Ate: Menu called it «Yougotatrythis»…or «yougotta something ridiculous but fun sandwich; Comprised on cranberry, turkey, cream cheese, inbetween pillow-esque bread that was maybe a light ciabatta bread? Drank: Shot in the dark(coffee with a shot mixed in) — dark and to the point $: Even though I missed the quiche selection, they need to revitalize there options. Word play with the menu is great but there are no real surprises or edible adventures here with the $ they are charging. Coffee seems to be their strength… for now.

Had an ok meal here. Got a sandwich and chicken curry stew. The sandwich bread was way too soft and the entire half fell apart after two bites. The bacon on the sandwich was the kind that comes pre cooked. Ugh. The curry stew was quite good however! Had a coffee that was way too sweet for my taste. Couldn’t take more than a few sips. Overall experience was so-so.

BlueStone is everything I want in a café: it has a nice atmosphere with art on the walls, big windows, and plenty of seats, clean bathrooms, parking, and good enough coffee. If this café were in San Jose it’d be a staple writing/coffee date destination. Every time I visit my family in Oregon, I stop by this café for some alone time where I can get work done, and this past weekend was no exception.

Love this place! A great little Grants Pass gem if you’re getting tired of the same ol’ Dutch Bros. routine. I love that they feature local artists’ work inside and have amazing pastries. Their veggie panini is to die for… perfect spot for a midweek lunch with a friend! The only thing I would have to say I absolutely don’t like about Blue Stone is the fact that they use styrofoam for their takeout. Big no no, in my opinion. Switch it up to paper or reusable takeout containers and they’d be golden!
