Went here for drinks with an old friend and enjoyed the atmosphere; the music was a nice level for conversation, the lights weren’t obnoxiously dim, everything felt very clean and urban. The bartender was kind of slow and not particularly enjoyable. Also it was pretty sketchy that she didn’t ask for my ID — turned 21 recently but I look about 16. On the high end, but still reasonable prices: ~$ 10 cocktails, ~$ 5 beer

Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was quiet and cozy. Hubby had a bloody mary and I had the Spicy Sexy(passionfruit habenero) martini and both drinks are yummy and reasonably priced. We both opted for burgers– one Cuban and one brie and bleu. Delicious and perfectly cooked. Great size at ½ lb each. Service was great, atmosphere was cozy and very warm and welcoming. We’ll be back!

On the weekends this place is for the very outgoing only– no quiet corners here… as a matter of fact, no quiet anything. Bring your most vocal friends to get the attention of the wait staff– maybe bring a scarf to waive? The check was literally tossed at us– almost slid into our drinks… The cocktail menu is interesting and fun, try the Bourbon and Whiskey drinks, amazing. I guess I’d go someplace else for the food… Vegans must chose from the appetizer menu or two salads — Veges have a couple more choices… these folks luv-a the animal proteins– so much that the Veggiewannabe sports a veggie patty with bacon and a fried egg – whaaaaa? Noisy, a little rude, nothing unique here… I’d say it’s a NoBo.

«We can’t do any to-go orders. We’re really busy.» Who even says that? What kind of restaurant turns away business?

Great food, great atmosphere, great drinks. Very average service. Thought it may have been a one time thing, but went back and still everything great but the service.

I’m all in. Hipster. Average service but great small plates. The Contradiction Burger is a veggie burger with bacon and a fried egg. Yummo! Then the Thai wraps and a wonderful chicken blue cheese balsamic salad! Heaven!!! Good food. Don’t order wines if you are a snob like me. Beer and vodka was really good. Rock on!

Ah. NEGATIVE stars if possible. I ordered the Ahi Tower. Seared ahi atop white rice & Avocado. My Seared Ahi was Burnt W/Gristle. When I mentioned it to the management, they deducted 4.00 so I ended up paying 9 for white rice & Avo. WTF? The bar staff was very friendly but still can’t overcome the lunce disaster. When I inquired about the deduction, I was told the price of a SIDE of AHI Is 4.00 But I DIDN’T GET A SIDE… it was my main protein. You CAN’T change 9.00 for rice and avo. I WILLNEVERRETURN.

The atmosphere is very nice. Comfortable, not too pretentious, but not as «relaxed» as many Medford venues serving the same sort of fare. We were there during happy hour and went nuts ordering from that menu. As some one mentioned earlier, the food did take a little while as it does in most restaurants where the food is made to order. It’s not Burger King after all, and it doesn’t taste like it either. We found the waitresses(we were there during a shift-change, so we got to experience two different servers) delightful. We were greeted with smiles, they kept coming back to make sure our sodas glasses were topped off and to ask if everything was OK. Everything we had was delicious. Even something as trivial as onion rings were so tasty. The calamari was to die for. Clearly they cook their own food rather than throwing frozen things into a deep fryer. Especially good was their white-bean hummus. Holy cow that was good. Anyway, when in Grants pass this will be the place I go. Check it out. In Bohemian, you might find a favorite place to eat in Grants Pass.

Good food had the veggie burger, however the burger wasn’t complete meaning all they gave you was the patty on a bun with tomato lettuce and avocado on the side. Also service was slow even with few people in the place. Would recommend it for patient people not in a rush.

This is one of the top three restaurants in grants pass. This place is amazing, matt the bartender is drop dead amazing at his job. The service is fast, smooth and not intrusive at all. The food is fast, the portions are perfect and most importantly the ingredients are of super high quality. The deliciousness factor is through the roof. Go to the bohemian tonight.

I love, love, love the food at The Bohemian. I’ve eaten tasty food there on three different occasions. All beautifully & artfully plated. The atmosphere is hip and sophisticated also. I could loose an afternoon there eating, reading and escaping…

Great bun less, Burger with bacon, egg & lettuce. Plus cocktails are good. Overall great, no complaints. Chef you did a fab job on my burger. I’m driving through back to LA. Service was great at the bar & the waitress hears your request. She should of just dropped her name. But not taking a star off for that.

We ended up here after a different restaurant we wanted to try was closed. What a great restaurant to stumble into! We lucked out big time. There was some sort of walking Beerfest situation happening, so 99.9% of the folks in there were walking through to try beers and eat sliders. I think we were the only people there who actually sat down and ordered a meal. That being said, we were served super quickly, and the service was great. I ordered the cheddar-beer bisque, and I wasn’t too impressed. However, the veggie burger I got(«The Contradiction») was out-freaking-standing. In January I became a vegetarian that eats seafood and bacon. I miss burgers a lot, but I just can’t eat em anymore. I ordered this veggie burger(sans red onions), and I was so fulfilled. Apparently they do a flash-sear to the patty, and then bake it so it’s crispy on the outside. With the egg and bacon on top, it honestly tasted like a burger and I couldn’t tell the diff. I’m usually reluctant t to get veggie burgers because they’re often just Boca burgers or frozen patties that taste like crap, but I think even a meat-lover would think this sandwich is NOMS. Go here, the menu has decent variety, the prices are reasonable, and I think their sandwiches are probably the best things they offer. Will return for sure.

So… I really wanted to love this place. My parents live in Grants Pass and being from San Diego they are always hoping for new great places but this one just fell short… way short. Server tried her best but the issues were beyond her help. There were six of us and about four other tables and she was a bit overwhelmed but I think it was the kitchen that needed the most help. I really hate places that serve your entire party and the one person who orders a salad has to wait an additional 10 minutes for their food. The food was mediocre at best. My ahi tower was flavorless and the hubby’s steak sandwich was pretty pathetic. The worse part though was there were flies everywhere and I mean everywhere. I should have listened to my gut and walked out when we first got there and I noticed a few. There is nothing worse than flies crawling on your food. Talk about an instant stomach turner. Should have gone to the Circle J

I spent a night in Grants Pass on my way to Crater Lake. I’m always on the lookout for local joints that have a little character and I wasn’t disappointed in the Bohemian. We ended up ordering two appetizers(Thai chicken lettuce wraps and the Italian white bean dip with naan) and both were delicious. I was also impressed we were able to order a decent bottle of wine for $ 20. We had a quirky server, but she was sweet and attentive. I’d recommend the place to any Portlanders heading south and looking for an interesting, locally owned restaurant.

Food was absolutely delicious! I got the steak sandwich and mom got the cuban sandwich they were perfectly cooked with high quality meat. The sweet potato fries and cilantro coleslaw were very good too! The reason I’m giving this 3 stars is because of the service was poor. The girl was dressed in jeans and a tank top and for a classy restaurant she should have been dressed way better! Luckily we got our food somewhat quickly, but there were only 3 couples in the restaurant and they said they waited 45 mins for two salads! The waitress was scatter brained for only having 3 tables to deal with. Hopefully they have better waitresses, because the restaurant really is good and the prices were very reasonable! I will definitely go back in hopes of better service!
