I went in to return a product that was not on par with other products I have used in the past. This one was highly recommended by their staff and probably because it was a high dollar item. The very first question was«Do you have a receipt?» well no but I used a card can you look up the transaction? «Yes but it won’t do any good HE won’t let me return it anyway» Who the hell is HE? So basically there is nothing you can do for me? «YUP!» I always like to keep my money local and shop local but after this POOR experience I will just have to shop online or wait until I go to Eugene. That’s too bad for them because I take a couple hundred dollars in suplements every month and they will not get one more red cent out of my wallet.

I came to this business to purchase some nutritional supplements. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I also purchased two drink shakers with internal wire mixers~brilliant! After two weeks of use, one of the shakers wouldn’t close properly. I went to exchange it, and because I didn’t keep the receipt, the manager’s approval was needed for an exchange. Steve, the manager, came out and said that I couldn’t exchange it because I had inadvertently switched the colors between the two shakers. He stated that he couldn’t sell a shaker with mismatched colors on the top and bottom. I asked him why he would knowingly resell a defective item! He backtracked, but insisted that he couldn’t just give me a straight exchange without both halves matching. I drove 35 minutes round trip to get the item to return. When I got back to the store, Steve was smarmy and condescending, although he did complete the exchange. With this kind of crummy managerial attitude, I’m definitely more motivated to support our locally owned and operated businesses and will bypass the ‘convenience’ of the corporate chain.
