Our overnight stay here was just fantastic! I recommend booking directly through the hotel, as they will give a discount price for AARP or AAA and Military. The rooms were quite posh for the price; thick carpet, nice drapes, clean windows, large queen beds with plump pillows and crisp sheets! It was very quiet. The hot tub was a joy since the day was slightly cold and rainy. We didn’t take advantage of the large swimming pool or the trails that lead right down from the Inn to the river and then along the banks, as it was raining quite hard in the afternoon when we stopped. A lot of motels advertise breakfast, but the breakfast at this Inn was really tasty! Fresh waffles, rye, wheat and sour dough bread and english muffins to toast; blueberry and bran muffins, nice juices, yogurt and fresh fruit, an assortment of cereals and of course eggs, bacon, sausage and home fries. You sit in a comfortable restaurant like room with CNN news available if you want to watch it. When we go to the Northwest, we always plan a stop here, as the Rogue River Inn is more than just an overnight stay, it’s a pleasurable experience.

I am only giving it one star to the Rogue River Inn because of their business practices. I went to check-in and wanted to room with two queen’s. They upped charged me $ 17. Then when I ask for a rollaway they charged me another $ 10. He did try to appease me by telling me that he didn’t charge me an extra $ 17 for our extra child. We had a total of five in the room. For what I ended up paying for this room I could have gone to a much higher end hotel and not paid any of charges. Breakfast was adequate with waffles eggs bacon and the skits and gravy. Room was small and very basic. Definitely not worth what we ended up paying for it
