Steve’s Muffler Shop

I found Steve’s muffler shop on Unilocal’s reviews. Went there because of the reviews. He did a fine job on my muffler but the other work he did on my car was not good. It seemed to be remove and replace parts, hope this works kinda thing. Lots of problems, big charges. Way over billing. Very nice guy, should stick to mufflers.

If you want quality work done quickly at a fair price, you can’t go wrong with Steve’s.
After having catalytic converter issues with my car while on vacation in California, and getting a quote of over $ 2000 to fix it in California (thanks to special emissions regulations in CA) I had to figure out how to get it repaired cheaper in my home state of OR. One quick call to Steve’s made the decision easy as he gave me a rough guess over the phone of approx ¼ the price. When we brought my car in to his shop the first thing the next morning Steve immediately got on the phone to find the parts and the best solution for my problem, while his son started disassembling my vehicle for the new parts. In about 90 minutes my car had new parts and was ready to get me on my way for less than he quoted me over the phone.
While talking with Steve (who is also a local fishing guide) I learned that he’s been doing exhausts for 40+ years and his experience is evident in his knowledge. He came up with a solution to fix my current problem as well as prevent future issues.
I cannot say enough good things about this shop and the great people. This turned what could have been a very expensive fix, and terrible end to my vacation in to a positive experience. If I am ever going to have exhaust work done on my vehicle I will probably drive the 4 hours from home just to give Steve my business!

Steve is fair. Not trying to get rich of you like other big names in town. Honest advice that keeps you on the road.
