Best gym in Grants Pass for cleanliness, affordability, and friendliness of staff. They offer classes now and have unlimited tanning for $ 15 a month. Super super affordable. Very comfortable place to be. Top notch! And the boss is super nice too.

I’ve been at the Zoo for a couple months now and I love it. The staff is nice, the equipment is in good shape, and it’s never overcrowded when I go. The people who work out there also seem friendly in general. I have zero complaints about the Zoo.

There’s a reason this gym has high star reviews.
I have been a member of three different gyms in Grants Pass during my many years in this town and The Zoo is by FAR the best, at least for my needs.
It has 24-​hour access (which means I never have the excuse of «oh, it’s going to close soon so I can’t go») and all of the equipment is in perfect working condition… and CLEAN!
The gym is very tastefully decorated, so it doesn’t feel too institutional.
I especially like the crowd that comes into The Zoo. It doesn’t feel like a meat market like Club Northwest. BONUS.
Add the fact that it’s insanely affordable and run by an awesome guy, and you have a super winning combo.
I’m a believer.

Amazing facility, warm and inviting, extremely knowledgeable staff and trainers!!! State of the art equipment, very clean and just in case you go too hard there is a phenomenal post work out drink they sell called kill cliff … Might be one word but it tastes like grapefruit and I find an excuse other than working out to get one there :)) yeeee!!!

This gym is well kept, the staff is friendly, and it’s 24 hours. They have plenty of nice cardio equipment and circuit training machines.
They are lacking in free weight equipment.

I have been a member at The Zoo for several months. I must say that this establishment is a top notch club, when compared to several others in the region. The employees and the owner are very actively involved in maintaining the facility and making sure their members are comfortable and safe. The workout equipment is spotless as well as the bathrooms. I have used the tanning equipment and the infrared sauna, both are state of the art. I am very happy with my affordable membership, and I would highly recommend this Club.
