After getting no response for months, I posted this Unilocal and the next day was called by Eric, the sales manager, who came to my house a couple of weeks later. He felt the surface and said it was the way it should be. I said I wanted it like the Pebble Sheen sample.
He then volunteered to have a worker come out and use a diamond disc on the surface. This was done a month later (rainy spring) and its much better now. Still not as smooth as a plaster surface, but closer to the sample so I am happy.
Think hard about the surface you want before you buy.
