I was very disappointed with this location. I usually visit the one off of Forest Ln but thought I’d change up scenes. Ill never come back to this one. They had nowhere near a good selection of food. The food was stale, hard and aged. The dessert selection gave you very little to choose from. They had some breakfast items but no breakfast meat such as bacon or sausage. I paid $ 22 for my sister and myself, definitely a waste.

Horrible. Zero food selection. Food does not look appealing. Only good thing was the water and ice cream. Customer service is bad also. We are not coming here again.

If I could give a zero I would. Food cold and stale. Not worth $ 5 much less $ 13

I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the food at this location. We each paid $ 15 for a buffet that was disgusting and the food looked old. None of us were able to put together a decent salad from the salad bar. The soups were dried up and the ingredients looked OLD. Probably a health hazard to even eat here. STAYAWAY

I was in the line at like 4:01, and the lady wouldn’t let me use the lunch coupon. They are out of cheese. I’ve been sitting here for like 30 minutes, and still no pizza(wasn’t here when I got here either). There were food particles left on plates. And the steak guy gave me a steak literally like 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch.

This place is horrible!!! DONOTWASTEURMONEY!!! The food was not worth $ 2 let alone the $ 28+ for two people. The restaurant was filthy, spilt food all over the buffet line and empty spots where food was suppose to be. I will NEVER eat here again!!!

You know a lot of reviewers on Unilocal give poor reviews for certain restaurants because they walk in expecting some 5-star quality and service for $ 10. If that’s what you’re looking for, go Fogo de Chao or Bob’s Chop House and spare the poor reviews. You are doing all consumers a disservice by giving your«I want half stars» type of reviews. I think for $ 10, you can’t complain about all the different variety/options available at Golden Corral… ranging from salads, hot foods, steak/BBQ, and dessert(drinks included). It’s a great place to come with your co-workers for a quick grab to bite whether it’s during lunch or an early dinner. This location is definitely one of the more well maintained golden corrals in the DFW area.

The breakfast is terrible… orange juice is watered down. Plates are filthy. I guess I should of known better to eat here… you get what you pay for. I’ll never be back here.

This was by far, the most disgusting restaurant that I have ever had the displeasure of walking into. The floor were filthy, the dishes were not clean, the food was scarce and the dessert area should have been shut down by the health department. There is no way that corporate should allow this place to continue operating until proper management is put in place. I would fire the entire staff and start over. One star rating is far to generous for this repugnant establishment.

I want half stars. One star just really is too much for this so I will split it ½ star for the food and ½ star for the service to match. If I tried to describe the experience no one would believe it. So a picture says it all. From the chocolate cesspool to the sweet potato suprise under the foil a true adventure awaits you. So if you have an adventures spirit and a tetanus shot give this a try. The coconut macaroons were rock hard. The white gravy was the consistency of water. The sweet potatoes were burned and dried out. The roast beef was dry. The biscuits were dry. The onion rings and fried plaintains were filled with grease. The hush puppies were too hard to bite into. The chocolate fountain was replaced with a nasty pool of dirty looking chocolate in a dirty looking service area. We had to walk to the cash register and stand in line for drink refills. Many items on the buffet looked very old and dried out. We refused to try the dried out scrambled eggs. On a brighter note the canned fruit and fried shrimp were ok. Also, the tile floors were so dirty my shoes stuck to them as I walked. Carpeted floors were not clean. Baseboard was falling off the wall. Glass separating service area from prep area was not clean. Several prep areas that were visible to guests had pools of standing liquid on the floor. There was a smell of spoiled food near the salad bar. I have eaten at many golden corrals in the past — this was the worst food I have had at any of them. Don’t eat at this location. You can’t leave the bathroom out of this a review; your better off with a port-a — potty. The floor was wet and it stunk.

I’m not a huge fan of Golden Corral, but I have been to two others that were really pretty good compared to this. I’m not sure how I could even give it two stars it was so bad. There was an incredibly limited selection which was pretty bad looking. Many pans were empty and never removed or replaced. The dessert bar was not even good. All that and we paid $ 36 for dinner for two adults and a 6 year old. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I went here not expecting anything, actually I was preparing myself for the worst. So we entered the place and no one was in front but after a few seconds of standing there looking around, a lady appears and asks us for our drinks and we paid. She then proceeded back to her table and ate. Found that odd. So, we go find a table and start scouting food choices and my oh my, everything was just nasty. Area: Floor was sticky and wet, some plates looked like they weren’t cleaned well. Service: A waitress kept refilling our drinks and cleaning our plates which was good but the food stations which were supposed to be manned by people were EMPTY! No one to assist us with the steak and carved ham area, I had to wait a while and had to call someone’s attention. They were all at the back. Food: I really wasn’t expecting much but man, I didn’t expect trash. Like what the F? Nothing I ate was warm. The bread looked like it had been sitting there for days. Vegetables were like mush. The steak was tough. Not all the food was properly labeled. I didn’t know what the heck I was eating! The desserts were just a waste. So bottom line, never going back to this place and not recommending it to anyone. This is by far the worst buffet I’ve been to. Yes, it’s food and yes we ate but the quality was just bad. It wasn’t satisfying at all. It was a very very VERY sad buffet.

This Golden Corral has very few selections compared to some of the other ones I’ve been to. The selections they do have are left empty for some time. The forgotten entrees leave the customers wanting. For some reason the lady we paid at the front came to our table and politely reminded us that the tip wasn’t included and that we can leave it at the table for our waiter as if we were dumb enough to not tip our waiter. I believe she forgot to include gratuity in the beginning so she was trying to make up for it. Still bad customer service because it left us feeling uneasy and obligated. The second star was for the waiter.

What to pick, it’s a fast meal and easy to take people that can’t make up their mind on what to eat. They will find something. We hope.

I normal like Golden Corral, but this was dirty, looked like food had been sitting out for a while. Lots of items were out, plates didn’t seem clean. I would not go back

Thank you Golden Corral for reminding me why we never eat here. $ 28 for 2 people would be feasible if the food wasn’t horrifying. Salad bar tasted like it had been sitting out since yesterday’s lunch crowd and the lettuce was rinsed off. Desserts didn’t kill us but were nothing but sugary craziness(that’s not always a bad thing). Hot food– I’m shocked that everyone leaving here isn’t holding the seat of their pants waiting for an eruption of deadly food poisoning to kill them… right as they get into their cars. The baked chicken was RAW… not undercooked but RAW. We gave it to our server and she stacked the plate on top of ten others and left it on a dirty table. My bf asked if she told the cooks and she didn’t say anything just walked away. Never…again.

Staying at a nearby resort, we chose to venture into the community for a family friendly meal with variety to satisfy kid and adult preferences. Unfortunately this restaurant was not a great experience for our family. Overall the restaurant seemed dirty. Food seemed to not be fresh. The yeast rolls and bakery items were dried out and not fresh. The salad bar tongs were greasy. We found a couple of the clean plates had food on them. Wait staff was overheard complaining they had worked a long day. We visited around 6p on a Monday evening.

I’ve been holding off on writing this review, as I contacted Golden Corral’s customer service dept. via the Web right after eating here, but have not received a response so here goes. We ate here this past Thanksgiving since they were advertising a $ 12.99 «special» Thanksgiving dinner. When we got there we almost turned around and left(we should have) because it was extremely crowded and there was only one register open — there are two sides to the front register area and we were baffled as to why the other register wasn’t open. We paid, took our drinks on our trays and wandered around for at least 10 minutes searching for seats. Apparently once they take your money you’re left alone to fend for yourself. We finally found a two-seater in the furthest section of the restaurant. Unfortunately, our two-seater only had one seat. So off we went again in search of another chair. While my husband was off on his chair quest I decided to get on the incredibly long line for the Thanksgiving portion of the meal — yes, there was a separate line solely for the turkey and fixings. I literally stood in line for 15 minutes waiting for a slice of turkey. When I got to the mashed potatoes, I was disappointed to see the tray was completely empty. The man in front of me asked the gentleman slicing the turkey if they were planning to bring out more potatoes. His response was to rudely say, «She’s working on it.» We had no idea who«she» was, but she never came out with more mashed potatoes. The dark meat was thrown haphazardly in a huge tray and some of it was sinewy and fatty… blah! Very unappetizing! My husband gave up since he was a little too hungry to wait in line for such a long amount of time for his food, so he ended up eating some of the«every day» food. So he paid for a meal he didn’t even get to eat. The attendant who cleaned our tables was extremely friendly and chipper. We made sure to leave her a nice tip(it’s not her fault Golden Corral is so disappointing). I will never eat here again. We spent far too much money on a holiday meal that turned out to be meager, poorly prepared and hardly worth the ridiculous wait. It is also very telling when a company does not respond to customer concerns.

Service is good as usual. Too bad the chocolate fountain is out of commission today. I like how they grill the steak fresh. Keep it up. Will RTE.
