Went on a Saturday. The place literally smells like there are dirty diapers under every rack. Seriously, I’ve never been in a place with such a foul smell. I gave it 2 stars vs 1, because I did get a few items there. I went for maternity clothes. Some of the selection was good– they had a few pairs of 7 jeans for $ 20 – 30, but a lot of it really wasn’t much of a discount(old navy and target t shorts for $ 9. They we’re probably $ 15 new). It definitely takes some searching and skimming(as does any resale shop), which is HORRIBLE with that smell! Go with a gas mask.

I had read the reviews about the poor customer service but figured it couldn’t be too bad. Unfortunately it was. I was really surprised by how rude the employees were. I went in to sell and buy but ended up doing neither because of the service. When I asked an estimated timing on how long it would take to sell so I could determine if I should wait or come back, she said– as long as it takes. Then when I went to gather my things that weren’t accepted, she seemed put off that she had to pick it off the floor for me. I’m 9 months pregnant, due any day and could not bend down. It’s unfortunate that the service is so poor. I won’t be coming back to this location.

I bought quite a bit here — maternity clothes and clothes for my soon-to-be babies. I will say that I’m glad I looked stuff over because I did find some holes on a dress I wanted to purchase. I also noticed stains on some baby clothes as well. I actually really wanted to purchase a bouncy seat, but they are all up high and it would have required too much assistance to look through them for quality. They did have a lot of great stuff, although some of the prices were a bit high considering the quality and age of the item. I did enjoy the onesie table — stacks of onesies in different sizes, all $.99. I will agree that the staff could have been more helpful. Most of them stayed behind the counter and didn’t outwardly offer help — even though I’m sure I looked like a lost little lamb. I don’t live close to Grapevine so I probably won’t be back to this location, but I will be trying out other Kid to Kid locations.

Good product selection. Good prices. Giving only 3 stars because the staff is consistently unfriendly in comparison to other location where we have been. Also, seem to take less(and give less $) for clothes that we bring in. Although we live close to this location we take the time tongi to the Arlington location. Which btw is a larger store with better selection, friendlier staff, and seem to take in more clothes and give more $ for what we bring in. I don’t know the used clothes industry but I guess they have more clothes turnover.

So organized! I’ve never seen a kid to kid that’s easier to shop in than here! No clutter. I sold a few things which was speedy, but she didn’t take much. Looks like they could have used a few of the toys too. Mine were more current than the store options. Only drawback was very little clothing options for size 3 girls. Must be how they keep the store so nice…

Let me just say I’ve been to multiple kid to kids in the DFW area, and this one by far is my favorite! The girls that work there are just the most friendly, greeting you right when you walk in, and they genuinely want to help if you have a question or concern! The store is well maintained and organized. It such a pleasure for my children(4) and myself to shop there. They have a spacious play area for the little ones, and a well organized toy section. There prices are amazing! I’m sure y’all understand shopping on a budget can be tricky even at thrift stores, but this kid to kid has some of the best prices I’ve seen in a while! The owner/manager is almost always there, which I love.

I am so glad that we have a kid to kid in the grapevine area now! Particularly near the in laws house. There is usually an after lunch time that when we go over that my MIL&SIL might run to the store for something or someone will fall into a food coma, so I’m usually looking for something near by to do and this place is so convenient. I’ve found some really good clothing items for my daughter, nieces and nephew here. They are always buying items, which some of the other kid to kids in the area are not always buying which is nice.
