I used one of his agents and she was worthless. The whole time our house was being built from July 2015 to Jan 2016, I never heard from her one time. She was paid a lot of money and she shouldn’t made a dime. She wasn’t even there the day we found the builder. I thought this was a reputable company but with agents like her, I would never give them my business nor certainly any referrals. I cannot imagine getting a check for all that you DIDNOT do and feeling good about it. It makes me sick!!!

Everyone I’ve interacted with here has been unbelievably rude and unprofessional, including the manager! I literally dread every time I have to call them. The other review about them and code requirements is absolutely true, too. Plus, when you request for basic things to be repaired, that are required by law, they act as if you’re demanding that they renevate the entire home. Then, when they don’t fix things that you’ve requested numerous times, and it causes other issues, they tell you it’s your fault. Absolutely horrible company. How they have any business and how their employees get away with treating customers the way that they do, managers and supervisors included, is beyond baffling to me.

Their property management is horrible. They are incredibly unorganized and incapable of even ensuring basic code requirements are met in a timely fashion. It took them more than 2 months to install smoke detectors. Wayne Hinson, the«vp», is rude and maintains a hostile insulting attitude no matter the situation.

If you’re a buyer and you have selected RJ Salerno(Rhett Salerno Sr.) as your realtor, then maybe this review isn’t for you. I met RJ Salerno as he represented a buyer of my previous home, while I was the seller. To make a long story short, RJ Salerno and his buyer accepted my asking price 8 hours upon me listing on MLS in a very hot market. We signed contracts, agreed to a deal, and I accepted earnest money in case the buyer withdrew. After 17 days, the buyer decided to renege on his offer, and pulled out. Obviously, this caused great strain on me and my family as we’d have to start from zero back on the market again… but at least we had the earnest money, right? I filled out the paperwork with my realtor in order to claim the earnest money. The next day, we received an email back from RJ Salerno stating that his buyer would be taking the earnest money back in full and that it was legal, stating«You and your seller may want to review this before attempting to sell the property to another party with the earnest money in dispute.» He then provided a link that described the hell a seller(me) would go through if they attempted to relist a property that was in dispute. He then signed off, «I’ll be expecting the signed release in my inbox tomorrow.» I interpreted this as either you sign off on my client’s earnest money or I will drag my feet to cloud your title. My wife and relatives interpreted it the same way. Anyone who buys and sells homes knows that a clear title is the way to go, and a clouded title adds a whole new dimension and set of rules, as well as prolongs the time for me to sell my house. I owned one house and bought a one new house, and tried to sell the old one. I cannot sustain two mortgages. I signed a normal contract that included earnest money to supplement myself for an extra month of bills, mortgage, and costs, should the buyer pull out(which they did). I don’t have the funds or time to take this through the courts – I just have to have my house sold. I had no choice but to release the earnest money to get my house back on MLS. This disgusts me to no end, as any tax-paying, rule-follower knows that earnest money is placed at the title company as a type of promise. I feel that RJ Salerno helped to oppress me out of this insurance and leave me and my house hanging. I feel bullied. I feel strong armed. I feel like I was blackmailed, and I also feel that with the callousness of RJ Salerno’s actions, that this probably wasn’t the first time he had done this to someone. I also feel angry. So if you are looking to BUY a house and want a realtor who I feel oppresses and bullies his way to what is in his best personal interest, and will have a commission at the top of his mind, I STRONGLY recommend RJ Salerno. If you are a realtor or a seller and have RJ Salerno involved in any capacity, I’d think twice, based on the factual evidence I have provided as well as how I feel about him. I’m happy to let you see my contract, email chain, and complaints filed with the TREC(Texas Real Estate Commission) if you’d like. Just send me an email. An apology and acknowledgement of wrongdoing can go a long way. ***UPDATE*** After I posted this review of RJ Salerno, I received several vicious emails from him ordering me to take down my transcription of what transpired between us. I have been threatened with legal action for merely expressing my opinion and my feelings through this transaction.

I used one of C21 Mike Bowman’s agents: RJ Salerno. He was the absolute best real estate agent I have ever used. He sold my house and helped me find a new one. He was on top of every detail, preventing major issues due the other agents and title company’s neglect. I cannot say enough good things about RJ and this office.
