This is my favorite park in the mid-cities area! I have been coming here since I was a little kid and love getting to take my own kid here. We love it so much that we have been here every day for the last 5 days in a row(the weather has been too beautiful to stay home). This park is nestled back in some neighborhoods of grapevine and could easily be missed if you don’t know it’s there. If you happen to go there on a weekend it is sure to be flooded with families of all ages. But because it’s so big you don’t ever feel like it’s too crowded. We were there yesterday and there were people flying kites, having cook-outs, soccer games, picnics, cyclists, roller-blading, etc. The playscapes for the kids are awesome! My 16 month old loves running around and I love that they have playground equipment suitable for the younger tots. The playground for the older kids is amazing as well. I know that we will frequent this park for many years to come!

Great little spot for water and park play. Lots of open space for the kids to run around or play sports. Picnic tables with shade as well.

The kiddos love this place! It’s very well kept & has plenty of room for picnics and/or soccer! It also has a volleyball sand court.

I’m 100% convinced that this is the nicest park in the area. It’s very well maintained, there’s lots of parking available, they have clean restrooms, plus all of these features: — a football field — a soccer field — lots of sidewalks for walking — a volleyball court — a splash pad — a really cool playground for little ones and bigger kids too with a huge spiderweb climbing thing — an electronic interactive game to get the kids moving — tons of picnic tables in the shade — lots of seating areas/benches — several covered pavilions My kids loved it. Usually when we go to a park, they’re whining before too long that they’re bored. But they are in heaven here and told me that this is their favorite park of all. :)

Recently visited this park briefly and I was impressed! The actual jungle gym structures are excellent and looked like they could provide tons of fun for many hours for kids of all ages. There’s also a cute little water spout area where you can cool off during those hot summer days(any of those in TX? :). I liked that there were baseball, soccer areas, a volleyball net, and basketball all relatively close to each other, in addition to some extra grassy areas. The grass, itself, looked pretty well kept and not all weedy as found at other parks. Downside was that there is only 1 basketball court and its in a parking lot which is weird. Didn’t use the bathrooms but glad there were some there. Seemed like there was plenty of parking available too!

My children and I just recently went to parr park this summer for a football practice. To my surprise they had redone it and made half of it a splash park! The kids had a blast! Really this park is so great for all ages. The other half if the park has all sorts of structures to play on. My kids especially loved the trails and chasing the squirrels:) we go all the time now:). Bonus they jst re did the bathrooms! Major plus!

Best park I’ve ever been to. It’s huge and has all the amenities, including a really cool music game and a splash pad that is open when all the others in the area seem to be closed. The playground itself is really large and has lots of different parts for kids to play on. This park is fabulous.

This is the greatest park I have ever been to. It is absolutely friggin huge and beautiful. Well maintained, though people disrespect the park often around the gazebo area. I am always picking up trash that flies out of their parties, but other than that… greatness. HUGE trees and a ton of squirrels to enjoy the shade. The trails go for miles and connect to a huge trail system. There is a water fountain including one for dogs. Batting cages… baseball fields, splash park, playgrounds, soccer fields, etc.

Very rarely can you find a park with all if the amenities(restrooms, splash pad in summer, age appropriate playgrounds, ample parking, sand volleyball court, basketball courts, walking trails… clean, multiple picnic table locations, plenty of trees for shade!!!) I could go on and on. dud i mention its FREE! As a mom of 5, you can appreciate why i love this treasure of a find! ;-)
