Statewide Remodeling

They were here exactly when they said they would be. They called and confirmed scheduling ahead of time. They were very good about following up on the phone and in-​person to ensure everything was done right. We would use them again in the future.

We signed up w/​Statewide remodeling because we wanted a company that was well known and respected. Our first project was for siding on our home. We signed our contract and the eta was about four weeks out, to our amazement they called two weeks later and were ready to start. Job took less than a week and looked amazing. The crew was prompt, courteous and cleaned up their mess when they left each day. Couldn’t be happier.
Now to our next project… the kitchen remodel. Statewide had done a fantastic job on our siding why would we expect anything different, right?!?
Let’s just say a two week job lasted over two months. We basically had to hold the hands of the crews Statewide hired in order for our remodel to go smoothly. First they promised workers that have been with them for years, our crew just got hired from Tennessee. We were the first job for them. Cabinets were hung without pilot holes, wrong cabinet drawers were ordered, handles for cabinets were crooked and put in the wrong place. Granite was cracked, cut crooked and possibly even the wrong color. I get it, it’s a natural stone and there’s no guarantee it will look like the sample… but c’mon it was a totally different color. Even after we drove to the showroom to verify what we were getting, they still did nothing. We’ve learned to love it, it’s not horrible just not what I was expecting. Took the granite crew four tries to get our counter piece right and that’s only because we had to tell them every single time it was wrong. it was cracked, cut too short, joint not touching other piece so they filled it with epoxy.
There were many other areas of unprofessionalism that we encountered w/​this company… but in the end the came back each and every time to fix the mistakes. We paid for professional quality and services we got half-​assed work and two months of them coming out to fix items. I am not happy about the premium price that we had to pay for this company but I am happy that they are a well known company and do fix the mistakes.
