Taylor Marine did a great job with my boat. They were extremely professional and responsive to my need to have my boat repaired in the most economical and best manner. In the DFW area, the larger boat dealerships can be difficult to deal with in that they don’t tell you when your boat will be repaired and they can tend to recommend/​do more work than is actually required. This is not the case with Taylor Marine. They understood my problem, corrected it, and had it ready when promised. The repair worked like a charm. These guys are great to deal with and extremely trustworthy. I have a 10,000lb 25 foot boat at Lake Lewisville… just moments from several boat repair places. I will always take my boat to Taylor Marine.

Taylor Marine Service is the only full service boat yard near the lake. Bill and Barbie Taylor are the owners and provide excellent service and support. They have done every bit of repair and maintenance on my boat for over 10 years. Their prices are fair, their service is reliable, they are knowledgeable and provide sound advice. They don’t try to sell you what you don’t need, but will recommend what they think is right. When the marina manager called me a couple of years ago and told me my boat had sunk at the dock while I was out of state on business, I simply called Bill and Barbie, told them to go get it and fix whatever was wrong. I didn’t even ask for a quote in advance I trust them so much. Bill went out of his way to help me avoid major repairs which he could have easily recommended. My boat was repaired in a timely fashion — for several thousand dollars — but I felt I received appropriate value for every dollar I spent. When my engine froze this winter (because I was again out of state and forgot to call them to winterize) they dropped a remanufactured one in and had me back on the lake in short order. I didn’t shop their price ahead of time but checked on the Internet after work was already under way and their price was very fair. Turn your boat over to Bill and Barbie with confidence.
