Arrived right as the shop was opening today(10⁄18) and the person working gave some of the most impressive customer service I experienced, ever. Go here for good service.

If you have a layover in Dallas, this is a must! Retha will take such good care of you. Such a breath of fresh air after a long flight. She will make sure you leave with a smile on your face. Thank you Retha for making my day. Job well done. :-)

Here’s an example of why I have for the most part quit reading Unilocal reviews when deciding where to visit. Seems that just walking to something that looks appealing and forming ones own opinion still prevails in the age of apps. Having nothing better to do my wife and I stopped by to find a really fun cool place with staff that were not only welcoming, they were having fun as well. Genuine nice people. We tried all of the teas from the free tasting and all were just over the top, great. Who can complain about that. I would have bought some but was headed the other direction and try to travel light. And then forgot on the way back. Would make for a great gift. Really nice teas. AAA+++

I love good tea and was thrilled to find this during a layover. I found a great black tea and almost ordered it. I drink my tea with milk or cream and asked about it as I was getting ready to pay(I’d had this problem before). They said«We have Creamer.» I passed and left without my tea. If you buy a $ 6.00 cup of high end tea, it would be sacrilege to then put imitation cream powder into it. Good tea deserves real cream.

How does this Teavana store not accept Teavana gift cards? Teavana has great products but their stores and customer service leave a lot to be desired.

GREATCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! I try to make a stop at this Teavana every time I have a layover at DFW.(And Pappasito’s. Phenomenal fajitas!) Every single experience has been extremely positive! Not only is the tea delicious and methodically prepared(particularly the Maharaja Chai), but the service is outstanding. On my last visit there, the person who helped us out was Retha. She was EXTREMELY friendly, and very helpful by taking us through all the samples and explaining some of the other options. Then when we made our selection, she not only offered to put the leftover loose leaves from my already made tea into a container so I could use it again, but she made my girlfriend a drink from the leftover leaves, for FREE! And these leaves can be steeped three or four times, so her drink was just as delicious.(You may ask, why didn’t I just buy my girlfriend a drink in the first place. She was still full from Pappasito’s and didn’t want one. But the associate made her a drink anyway. She didn’t regret it!) Then when we ordered a bag of the S’mores tea,(you read that correctly. It has actual marshmallows in it!) she weighed our order, printed the receipt, then put a whole extra scoop in it that she didn’t charge us for! It’s customer service like that that keeps people coming back; companies who are willing to go the extra mile, who are willing to sacrifice a few cents of profit in order to make the customer happy. In fact, I’m more apt to go back and buy more than just a cup of tea now. Thanks Teavana! Keep up the great work! –Greg Batla

We were on a flight back home and connected at DFW. It was early in the morning and a little tea sounded perfect. We typically buy a few ounces of loose leaf tea from Teavana once a month so we are somewhat regulars at our local store. We went in and got a quick sample and things were going well as expected. We decided to buy a cup of English breakfast and the blended herbal they had on display. They started the teas and then we found out we couldn’t use our Starbucks card which was a little frustrating. We then realized the English breakfast counts as premium tea($ 1 more) even though the cost for 2oz is less than the cup of tea… The gal at the register was not very friendly about our question of pricing and tuned us off at that point. We stuck with it until we got our teas. We asked for one with heavy sweetener and one without. We got our teas and were on our way to our connecting flight only to realize they sweetened the wrong tea. At this point we were so frustrated it wasn’t worth going back to get a refund or new teas. We normally love Teavana but this one was a bit of a let down, both in customer service level and the employees ability to make tea correctly.

They are very friendly. It’s the first Teavana at DFW. They always have what I want and I always want what they have. I love the Green Tea Matcha as well as the Orange Blossom with the White tea that they sample often. I dont like it cold particularaly but hot its ace for me.
