Mears Point Marina

We have stayed here as transients a number of times and always enjoyed the hospitality and amenities. So last fall when Mears Point announced a fantastic deal for new slip holders, we jumped on it. We had always kept our boat on the western shore, in Middle river or Baltimore harbor. We saw this as an opportunity to be closer to attractions farther down the bay. But the marina is a resort unto itself. With a massive pool that includes a bar and hamburgers, etc for lunch, a playground, a impressive fitness center, large bath house, exceptional choices for dining at restaurants nearby just to name a few. Slip fees also cover membership to the Kent Narrows Yacht Club. On Saturday & Sunday mornings the club provides breakfast between 8 – 9 am. They also have several organized cruises. Slip holders also receive a discount on fuel and complimentary boat hauling and power wash bottom mid season. The staff is exceptionally friendly and very helpful and our neighbors and new friends are delightful. Our previously waning enthusiasm for boating has been renewed!

I went to the View at Mears Point Marina and wasnt really blown away. It was just your average riverside resteraunt with a view.
I ordered the crab cakes and they came back a little mushy. The crab soup was yummy. My waitress was a little awkward, i’m thinking she was maybe drunk or hung over.
