Found them in the parking lot at Home Depot. So glad I needed a new garage door opener! I had the thanksgiving pie and ate it on my way home to Grass Valley. It was the perfect mix of huge chucks of turkey and soft leftover dressing. And the cranberry relish? Amazing! The perfect touch of sweet and sour. Brought home the buttermilk pie for later and for the wife, I brought her the ganache. She is really picky about her pie crusts so I was happy that she thought it was delish. I tried to only eat parts of the buttermilk pie to have it last over a couple days, but it only lasted a couple hours. Will be hunting them down often.

I had their chicken pot pie. It was great for a light dinner on the run. I was nice and warm with a flaky crust. I would buy it again if they come by West Sacramento.

I ate here at the West Sac Food Truck night. I’m a huge pie lover and extremely picky when it comes to pie, so this food truck had a big task ahead of itself. Well, it impressed! My husband and I split the chicken pot pie, Louisiana meat pie, and peach pie. I loved that they are individual servings, so the whole crust gets crispy and is freshly made. I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite between the 3, they were all wonderful. Maybe the peach pie, just because I love sweets! I’d love to eat here again.

I am not a huge fan of pie, but these are amazing! Perfect size, extremely convenient, and reasonably priced. I am always at Home Depot, especially on my lunch break, so it nice to be able to stop by and grab food at the same time. I recommend to anyone to give them a try, you will be hooked.

I have been dying to try after seeing at many Sactomofo events but just haven’t gotten around to it. Boy was I missing out! I got a peach pie for my boyfriend and I to share at our most recent event in Carmichael. It seems kind of small for the price and I was a bit worried when I saw it that it might be burnt. But the tiny pie is the perfect amount of decadent slices of fresh peach and sweet filling, I also tasted almond which was a bit different for me but so good. The sides which I worried about being burnt were in fact now perfectly glazed with the juices that spilled out and caramelized with the sugar they dust on the outside of the crust. I can’t wait to try the buttermilk pie which I have been told tastes like crème brulee, I only wish I had tried sooner!

We tried the Louisiana meat pie but were disappointed because the filling was mostly rice plus an oddly large chunk of tomato. Flavor was good, could have been spicier.

This truck travels around. I have found it at the County Fair, downtown Nevada City events, and Thursday nights at the Ol’ Republic brewery. I have tried most of their pies, both savory and sweet. They are tasty and messy. Request napkins.

This is an amazing service! Served out of a truck, these mini pies are simply put, the best ever! My only problem — there is only one truck and it moves around from place to place to service the best customers, but that’s business — The price is right, and the servings are perfect!(If getting the blackberry, use suction to get the fruit out or you WILL wear it).

Probably the best pie I’ve ever had. I ordered the seasonal buttermilk pumpkin pie — it was so flakey/gooey/crispy and the flavors worked really well together. Definitely worth the trip from Sacramento to Auburn!

Another well deserved five star review. Their Louisiana meat pie was just perfect! BlackBerry pie was a hot(delicious) mess. The size of the savory pies is just right for a meal. Dessert pies are great to share. We look forward to running across this truck again soon and indulging some more. MLK, that crust…

I’ve been super DUPER lucky enough to enjoy An Honest Pie two times so far — but from that first bite, I’ve been a ECSTATICALLYHAPPYFAN!!! Now it’s my pleasure to tell friends, family, anyone in earshot — about the DELICIOUSNESS that comes from that super cute pie mobile! So far I’ve tried the chocolate heaven pie(no idea what it’s REALLY called but that’s a perfect description), the lemon(perfectly balanced tartness!) and the OHHHHMYYYY Buttermilk(positively SINFUL!!)… I can’t wait to try more if their amazing creations!

Just went to the Auburn Food Truck Fesival and this truck kept catching my eye throughout the event. I proceeded to purchase BBQ and a snow cone, but right before I left I decided that I’d buy a pie for later. I’m so glad I did. They had a handful to choose from(blueberry, apple, BUTTERMILK(whaaa? she told me it’s southern and tastes like a sugar cookie), even a chicken pot pie) but we decided on cherry and peach. Omgomgongomgongogmgoggmg YUM! Please do yourself a favor and buy a flippin pie from these people. It is scrumptious! That is all.

My daughter LOVES the pie truck! Begs for it, in fact. I want better pies though. I would buy gluten free, honey sweetened, dairy free pies by the friggin car load. Love the idea though!

I have the biggest and I believe the best sweet tooth there is. I am all about deserts. With that being said, I have never tasted anything as good as the pies I tried from An Honest Pie! We were at a game at Raley Field watching from a suite. A very kind women delivered a box of a assortment of pies to the suite for us to try. I know exactly why they do this. Myself and everyone there that day with me are now addicted to these incredible pies. I find myself shaking till I get another fix:) If I had to pick my favorite(emphasizing IF I HAD to pick) it would be the buttermilk. Wow!!!

We had our first pie last night in Nevada City. They were down to just one type of pie which was the buttermilk pie and it was amazing! I look forward to trying many other varieties.

I came across this little truck on a blistering hot 4th of July. They were part of a long line of food trucks competing for my money at Raley Field. I scanned the out field and my eyes settled on this little gem. I hopped in line and began to read over the hand written menu. They offer a decent selection of pies. They had several warn varieties as well as a few cold selections. I decided on the Apple pie. I think it was called Aunt B’s Apple Pie. And at $ 5.00 it was a bargain. The pie came out a few short minutes later and a kind women behind the counter instructed me to eat it like a burger. This pie was soooo good. It was sweet, hot crunchy and had a perfect amount of cinamon. I devoured the pie and returned for a second. You must try this little truck if you are lucky enough to see it.
