Kendra Evans

Well, not sure of the skill, since I called and left a message about three weeks ago and never got a call back. I guess business must be good, but not proper etiquette or in my opinion the way to run a business. Definitely going with the person who returned my call the next day.

Kendra did my makeup and my bridesmaid’s make up for my wedding on 6÷23÷2012. She did a GREAT job and she was very response and punctual. Also she is just a really sweet woman and I loved having her around the morning of my wedding, very sweet and calm:) Everyone just looked beautiful! I’m really impressed with her work. She also does airbrushing and does it REALLY well. I would highly recommend Kendra!

At my daughter’s wedding (Jessica P, she previously left a review) I had the honor of being walked down the aisle on my son’s arm. Guests mistook me for the Maid of Honor. Family and Friends said that the Bride and I could have passed as sisters.

Kendra helped us look like Celebrities on my wedding day. My mom and i went into the salon where she worked and let her have free range and without us telling her she knew what to do with our face shapes and coloring. She is truly a professional in the sense and makes getting make up done fun! Definately would LOVE to do it again!
She cleared all blemishes withe ease and i had people hardly recognize me it was soo good. Everything lasted hours and hours into the late night! HIghly recommend her!

Kendra was awesome to work with. I held my wedding in Grass Valley in November. I found Kendra on Unilocal!Thank goodness! We were short on time and not from the area, I can not thank her enough for making it all so easy. I didn’t have time for a trail run and she did exactly what I wanted. Thanks to her I felt beautiful and confident on my big day! She was very professional and extremely nice. I really enjoyed the experience!

Kendra is wonderful!!! She was very professionl and listened to everything I had to say about my makeup and how I wanted to look. She made me look beautiful adn flawless on my wedding day. My airbrushed makeup lasted all night and all day!!! Kendra is the best!

I was getting married in the Grass Valley/​Auburn area and was really nervous about finding a makeup artist who would keep my makeup looking natural and fresh. I set up an appointment with Kendra and was completely relieved when I arrived for the consultation. She listened to everything I said and was extremely professional. In the end, we worked together to create a look that I was absolutely comfortable with. I didn’t feel overly made up with heavy makeup. In fact, it felt light and fresh, even though it was a super hot day, and I loved how I looked!
Thanks to Kendra I felt beautiful and comfortable on my wedding day. I highly recommend her.

I feel so lucky to have found Kendra to do my wedding makeup. I searched for months for a makeup artist who did a natural bridal look and had my heart set on airbrush makeup. Surprisingly (or not surprisingly?) this is a hard thing to find in the Grass Valley vicinity. I was resigned to either having an airbrush makeup artist come up from Sacramento ($$$$) or just having regular makeup done by one of the salons in town. Somehow I came across Kendra’s ad online one day and thought it was too good to be true. Nope! And to make it even better, she works with the very amazing hairstylist Amber Miller, so basically you get two awesome people for your big day. Kendra is a pro and knew in seconds flat which false eyelashes would be best, what lip color would work, etc. The makeup covered all of my flaws and imperfections. My photographer was really pleased with how even the makeup application was and how well it photographed. The airbrush makeup went on wonderfully — you can’t tell you’re wearing anything and it lasted ALL day. Awesome!

Kendra Evans is a fabulous makeup artist! She has done airbrush makeup on me and the result was flawless. Her makeup even covered up the little dark spots on my cheek, which I always have trouble with. She very professional and reliable and I would recommend her to anyone! If you are in Nevada County and are having any type of special occasion, or reason to get your makeup done, Kendra is your girl!
