Julie was awesome. She took me on short notice and was ready at exact appointment time. Offered me shampoo before and after the cut. AND gave me a rockin cut. I am up in Nevada City visiting friends and they all agreed that the cut I got from Julie rivals the cuts in SF salons where they charge five to six times more.
Wish she was closer.

It is the classiest place where you feel like a princess.
She can accommodate to any style and is hard sometimes, but she nails it!

I absolutely loved my experience at the Mane Event! My stylist was Paije and she was super friendly and competent at her technique. I love my haircut! I plan on going back many, many times in the future. The prices are very reasonable and the location is awesome and easy to get to. The parking lot is very small and you have to do a bit of maneuvering to get in the spaces, but it’s worth it. It is WAY better than my experience at Bloom in downtown GV… ugh. This salon knows how to treat customers with respect and listen to them and what they want — I truly feel like Paije cared about how my experience was — that quality seems hard to find and rare in salons nowadays. Highly, highly recommended!

This was the most disgusting hair salon I’ve ever been to. The entire place was filthy like it hadn’t been cleaned in months and the girl that was helping my friend was sitting around on her laptop in the midst of a filthy floor. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. There was hair everywhere and nobody in the salon. There were people sitting around doing nothing while we had to sit on really gross chairs. There was dust and hair and who knows what else all over the sitting area. Try Simply You in Penn Valley. A much better choice.
