Today(the day after Thanksgiving) was my first visit to Wolf Mountain Christmas Trees. I saw an ad on a local Facebook page and told my hubby about it. We headed out there just after 2. The location was very easily accessible from Hwy 49& Lime Kiln. When we arrived we were greeted by Wallace(the adorable black Scottish Terrier), Claudia, and her husband Stan. Stan gave us a tour of the farm and asked us about what we were looking for in a Christmas tree. He walked with us and directed us to where we would find a tree that would meet all of our expectations. Stan then left to go back down and get us a saw and a long pvc pole to measure the trees. He told us that trees seem much shorter than they actually are when they are in the ground. He was right! Lol. When we found«the tree», I thought is was perfect, but it looked a little shorter than we usually buy. I wanted to be between 7−71÷2 feet. When my husband put the stick up to measure it, the tree was just over 7 ½ feet tall! It was perfect! So, my husband had me hold the middle of the tree trunk and push a little bit to avoid the saw from getting stuck. He was able to get the tree down in under a minute. When we got back to the little office building to pay, we were greeted by a couple other ladies who worked there. They were all so festive and helpful! Stan asked if we would like to have our tree baled with netting. We always get our trees baled to allow for easier transport & set up. The cost here was only $ 1.50! I was so impressed. I have always paid around $ 5 everywhere else. They then helped my husband put the tree in our vehicle. In the end, we only paid $ 38 for a beautiful tree. They had homemade sugar cookies, popcorn, & cider for customers. They had some accessories and decorations for sale as well. It was so great to be able to find and support a local business. The owners really were so helpful & friendly. I will not ever go anywhere else for my trees in the future! Thank you so much Claudia, Stan, & Wallace! Merry Christmas!
