What a peaceful camp. The counselors and staff are all young people who have excellent camp experience and find this a true calling not just a «job». While I agree with the first reviewer that the bathrooms are old I also know this is camp. The bathrooms are fully functional and they have been upgrading them gradually so some are very new and in good shape. As an avid outdoorsman and
backpacker I’m not bothered by old restrooms.
We were here for a science camp and found the teaching to be exactly at the level for our kids to follow along.

I recently stayed at Wolf Mountain with my son’s 5th Grade class for a four day stay. I was extremely impressed with the staff, mainly Marshal Jon, Mr. Jon and Mr. Judd. They were very prepared in all aspects of hiking, archery, shooting, zip lines, horseback riding, and all of the activities they provided. The food was good too even though it was buffet style. Wolf Mountain is a huge facility with several other campgrounds. And I understand they could have arranged paintball but perhaps there was not enough time for our group. My only real complaint was that the bathrooms could use some upgrades, e. g toilets and showers. Otherwise, I would return for another adventure!
