Gotta get the Baby Bopper. Don’t know anyone who can eat the Big Bopper, the Baby is huge and one of the top burgers in the area.
Don’t let the outside fool you. The staff is great and the food is incredible. Well worth the trip.

Food is fair to poor… service is horrible to worse…

I’d heard some good… some bad… had to see/​eat for myself. Ok, it’s a total dive — outside and inside… and TINY! I love dives so that wasn’t a problem… but frankly it doesn’t seem very clean inside… dive is ok… filth is not!
They rotate their specials on Fri nights — the only night they’re open. (I think they’re open breakfast and lunch other days). I planned my trip for Prime Rib night! I heard I should call ahead and reserve our meals so I did (good thing — not sure they’d have had any left by the time we got there).
All the food delivered to our table was COLD… stone cold… mashed potatoes… gravy… meat… COLD… yuk… how can the food be cold when there are only 10 customers and they just opened for dinner 30 minutes ago?!?
With 2 waitresses for 4 tables — 10 customers — you’d think the service would be GREAT… but no… they wouldn’t even look our direction — sad as we were in the middle of the room! Wait staff acted like we were inconveniencing them — how rude of us to want to order… had to ASK for refills… had to ASK for the bill… had to work to flag someone down for everything! They seemed to be there to socialize with each other and the regulars. Perhaps they don’t need/​want new customers!!!
Oh, and the prime rib? hard to say anything good about it… fatty, gristly and COLD… but the price was good!
Maybe we went on an «off» night? Maybe we’ll try again and go during the day and try a burger? I sure won’t be rushing to go back!

This is a great burger joint. Great staff, fabulous food, relax atmosphere, good prices.

This is just the kind of small town diner everyone knows and loves. The food is DYNAMITE! The menu is really well thought out and includes some inventive items. If you’re in the area, go. You’ll be glad you did!

The best homemade onionrings ever! The burgers are heavenly! Come hungry they give you alot!

The food is Great and there’s plenty of it. The fresh made onion rings are huge and the fresh cut french fries to die for.
