I have to say, from all the advertising hype for this annual bazaar, I expected more. What was supposed to be a pet-oriented extravaganza had little in the way of entertainment: the«performances» were few & far between, and led by long-winded speakers(seriously, I didn’t need someone droning on for ten minutes about the history of herding animals), the line for free pet pictures with Santa was ridiculously long(maybe think about getting more than one picture area set up or give people time slots to come back so they can wander your shops rather than standing in line for 2 hours), and the crafts were kitschy, cheap, and ofttimes not even pet-related. Decorations and festivities were sparse. I understand this is a free event, but I feel as if I wasted my time making the drive out here. If you’re going to put an annual holiday event on, maybe ask each seller to decorate a certain amount or have some type of game or activity at each booth… SOMETHING needed to be done to make this better than an overdressed yard sale. The only thing that saved this from being a 1 star review were the plethora of adorable adoptable animals. Cuteness can make up for a lot.
