The fisherman’s platter was very average, but the lobster roll was excellent. The girls working the counter are very friendly. I would go elsewhere for the fried seafood, like The Lost Gull in Oxford.

Best seafood chowder around. Also love their crab quiche. And if you just want to pick up lobsters or fish, theirs is extremely fresh and economical. They 2 ladies who run the place are super friendly and always happy to see you. Great place for seafood in Gray and the surrounding towns!

Great prices, friendly service, and FRESH seafood! I’ve never been disappointed when I’ve been planning a seafood dinner and go to Fishermans Net! Try their chowders — soooo creamy and delicious!

I love this fish market! I often call ahead and get lobsters cooked. I also get clams and swordfish, when in season. The seafood is always good and the service prompt and very friendly. I highly recommend Fisherman’s Net!

We went there yesterday for the 1st time & were quite disappointed. When we walked in I noticed a bit of a «fishy» smell. Husband did not, so we ordered anyway. Clam cakes were tasteless, lobster roll was tasteless, & seafood chowder was acceptable until I tasted a «fishy» piece of haddock. We will not return except for a live lobster. Service was fine. This is not an «eat in» restaurant. However that did not bother us — just the food.

Came by for the steamed lobsters after looking up this place online. It has been the whole day but my husband and I can not stop talking how good and affordable the food was. The girls working there are so friendly too. You have to try it!

In a word, awesome. Stopped in after getting a recommendation from a local fishing guide. There are tons of places in the area to get seafood, but I am ecstatic that i ended up here. Stephanie, the owner, was very nice and super helpful! The lobster roll there may be the one that I chase the rest of my life. I tried 4 different and all were excellent. One of those rolls and a Maine Root Ginger Beer and that’s about a perfect lunch IMO. I also bought fresh lobsters there and they were also excellent. I called in advance and she had all my lobsters picked out, packaged and ready when I got there. Terrific service!

I just want to come back and update my review. I decided to give this place a second chance and listen to the other reviewer on here. I gave the cooked food a try last week. It was amazing. The fried clams were as good as my homemade ones. I tried the crab roll, but it wasn’t my thing. The ladies who work there were quite friendly too. I highly recommend the cooked food. It is classic downeast seafood fare. However, I am still hesitant to purchase raw product from them.

I have been going tot this place since it opened and have nothing but good things to say about it. They have all of the best seafood Maine has to offer and I don’t have to Portland to get it. I probably go in at least 2 or 3 times a week to either pick up something to make at home or to get take out. My personal favorite for take out is the crab rolls but they have so many other great things on the menu. All of the people in there are friendly and always willing to help out. Over the winter I needed a lot of lobster meat for a family gathering, I called them one afternoon and they came in early the next morning to cook and pick the lobster for me. I really love the people, the service, and the great food. I highly recommend this place.
