Ausable Fabrics & More

They say that when one door closes, another opens. I was disappointed to find out that Ice House quilt shop had closed, but no worries. Ausable Fabric & More is open for business in charming downtown Grayling!
Ausable has fabric and quilting supplies. The «More» is a small supply of yarn. So if you dabble in knitting and crochet, it’s also a great place to stop and find inspiration.
The friendly lady running the store that day showed us some «flimsies,» that is, quilt tops that haven’t been quilted yet. They would soon be transformed into quilt samples to hang in the store.

Lots of Creative Grids rulers. Patterns for quilts, tote bags, other fun stuff. A bit of felted wool, for appliqué. They have quilt making classes for all levels.
