Dollar General Store

Generally speaking, I love dollar stores – you just never know what you’re going to find… and this place was no exception! They were having post-​Christmas sales, and we picked up a few toys for our son at a great deal (nothing name brand, but at 50% off, it was stuff we knew he’d love and we wouldn’t be upset if it didn’t last). We walked in just to look… and walked out with armfuls of stuff – from wrapping paper to Teddy Grahams to fleece blankets ($ 3!) to Sixlet candies (nostalgia!). They had a lot of name brand stuff at decent prices – I was really surprised.
The store was very clean, bright, and well-​stocked – and the shelves were organized and the aisles were clear. The cashier was also super nice and friendly. If we lived here, we’d certainly shop here on a regular basis!
