Grayling Hospital For Animals

Last night my dads dog had an encounter with a porcupine and she was left with about 11 – 15 quills that needed to be removed. First thing in the morning we called around and decided to go with GHFA because they were referred by the animal shelter where the dog was purchased.
When my dad arrived at GHFP they told him to leave the dog for further assessment, but would call him with an accurate quote before starting the procedure. They called and said it would cost $ 165-​, and my dad gave the «ok». When he went to pick up his dog, the employee said they had to talk to the doctor before running his card through. She came back and told my dad that he owes $ 246.30!!! Wtf? The agreement was $ 165-​!!! He had to pay because the procedure was complete. We will never be back.
Buyer beware! This place has a business ethic that is way off key! I don’t want anyone else to get ripped off.
