Classic neighborhood bar with pool table, solid cheap drink selection and great clientele. I am in the military and from Grayslake. I come here whenever I am home and after my friend died who would frequent this establishment with me they hosted a great remembrance bash that I will never forget. I love the firehouse.

Quite the dive-​y dive. There’s a pool table readily stocked with the usual riff raff. The day bartender is a very nice lady who pours heavy — not a bad thing. The bathrooms are icky, low on t.p. and basically need serious help.
A shot and a beer joint for sure.
Someone recently told me they installed security cams inside. Weird.
