This is an annual event, $ 5 entry per person. Kids under 12& active duty military free! It was a decent size this year, but not huge, filling up a good portion of the one indoor building of the Lake County Fairgrounds. Since it’s not one of the«huge» local shows like C2E2 or Wizard World they didn’t have the big«corporate» vendors with freebies/giveaways, but that’s okay, you are only paying $ 5, after all — quite a deal. There were a good deal of toy/comic/art/collectible/jewelry vendors there. There were also a number of gaming areas for folks in to that. We came just to look at toys & comics and spent 2 hours looking at those. If you were in to games or the jewelry, art, etc. then you could easily spend more time(they were open Sat & Sun from Noon — 6 each day this year). They also have a concession area with food/beverage and even a bar area for the 21-older crowd(I think just beer & wine).
