Excellent customer service, not only for me, but for my pre-​teen as well! My daughter felt totally comfortable trying on and talking about her bra options. And I was happy about the prices and alteration options.

My girlfriend and I went to the Fitting room because we had heard they will fit you with the right bra. It is a very cute store. The young girl asked us what size we usually wear and just brought us in two bras that were smaller. My friend didn’t like hers at all (to uncomfortable).Mine was about the same, the young girl said to take it and just try it.
Well I DoD take it home and tried it a couple of times. It was to uncomfortable.
So I brought it back. I was told I could only get a store credit. I paid with cash why do I have to get a store credit.
I’ve given the store credit to my daughter I really hope she can find something.
I would not recommend this place.

Although I don’t think this boutique is terribly over-​priced, I DO wish I had an «actual» fitting. Eye-​balling it and going off of the size I was wearing when I walked in, is NOT a fitting. I have bought a few items there, none of which I love. There were items I wanted, and she, of course, didn’t have it in the store in my size. I recommend trying this lingerie boutigue for yourself but I’d like to voice my opinion.

I had high hopes for the fitting room because the service I received on my first visit was amazing. The sales person made me feel comfortable and confident. My problem is with the product. After spending over $ 60 on a bra I wore just twice, the under wire in the right cup came apart and was stabbing me. When I went to the store to see if I could get a refund, they accused me twice of putting the bra in the dryer and damaging it myself (I did not even wash it before it broke). They offered to repair it for free so I gave them a second chance. After getting my newly «fixed» bra, I washed it as instructed (handwashing and using the free samples of special lingerie soap) and again wore the bra. This time the wire decided to come apart during work and I was forced to endure my shift with a piece of metal jabbing into my side all day. From the managers accusations of me looking to scam her and the less than stellar «repair,» I can safely say I will not be returning to the fitting room and I urge people to take caution.

I have been buying bras from Victoria’s secret my whole life. Ive always worn a 34 dd. Bras a always uncomfortable and ill fitting leaving tiny bruises where things are digging in and the dreaded back fat! Today I had a mind blowing experience. I bought a living social deal to fitting room specifically because I’m getting married and needed a good strapless bra. Upon walking in you will find a beautiful comfortable environment adorned with pinup girls. Its nice not to look at size zero models! The staff was so so friendly and I never once felt award. They were low on selection so 8d suggest calling first and going on a day they get inventory. After my fitting I found out that I was not only wearing the wrong size but wearing the bra wrong. I’m a 30 g not a 34dd and the back strap should not be on your shoulder blades! Rather it should be on your lower ribs who knew. Well I have never had a more comfortable bra and boy do my boobs look better and no back fat :) they also sell panties, stockings, shape wear, PJ’s and nursing bras. They have a selection of boob odd and ends such as double sided sticky tape and no rinse lingerie wash. I did buy a bottle of lingerie wash but was bummed that the scent I want only came in a small size so she gave it to me as a wedding present. I loved everything about this place and will be going back for life as well as recommending them to everyone and bringing my sister in for her first bra. This place is totally worth the drive. Bras started at 45. The average price was 55 and the most expensive one I saw was 98. Panties were 24.

I went there today to use a Livingsocial coupon and was very happy with my experience. The place is right on the corner so even though it does look like a regular house its pretty easy to find. The owner assisted me with finding two bras that fit.
The nice thing about the bra fitting was that it wasn’t an awkward experience. She asked what sizes I’ve worn previously and I told her how they had fit. Then she brought me a bra that was in the range I had stated. Once I had the bra on she came into the fitting room and I told her what I liked and what didn’t fit. Surprise! I hadn’t been wearing my bra correctly most of my life! So now far from wearing an ill-​fitting and ugly 40D I have 2 new and very pretty 34HH and 36/​G bras. (For those of you who don’t know, the range is very usual in all women depending on the bra style).
The only real downside was the fact that these are not 20 dollar Mejer/​Walmart bras. They were definitely pricey enough to make sure I take good care of the ones I bought, so they will last awhile. But I will very likely make this a regular stop for all my bras and lingerie in the future!

You have never had better service in your life. If you need a size that hard to find, this is the place. They start with a very accurate measuring. No matter what, they will have that size with lots of choices. And you’re in the dressing area and they bring everything to you. And they make sure it fits perfectly.
And while they do tell you about other products they have, they are in no way pushy. Oh, and friendly. I’m very happy with my experience.

The Fitting Room is a space unlike any lingerie boutique I’ve ever seen. It is inviting, elegant and sophisticated. Bex’s style, dedication and attention to detail were instantly obvious in the intimate atmosphere she’s designed. Her attentiveness and care towards her clients are a rare quality. She listens because she’s truly passionate about helping women feel sexy and beautiful despite their sometimes skewed perceptions of self. Of course, the beautiful selections of lingerie sets available at her shop are truly impressive. I’m a big fan!!!

Bekah (aka, Bex) is a superstar! This place is all done up in vintage style with wonderful music, yummy wine and, most importantly, the most exquisitely gorgeous (and well-​fitting) lingerie you can imagine. Treat yourself to the best bra fitting of your life! (And if you’re a guy, treat the special woman in your life with a gift certificate so she can go in & get pampered by Bekah herself.) You will not be disappointed!

REVISION:
The owner read my review and wanted to rectify the situation. She made no excuses for what happened (and I appreciate that honesty) and I gave The Fitting Room another shot. I went back this past Saturday and Bex was extremely helpful and had specifically ordered bras (and done research) on them for my specific needs.
The store had been rearranged some more and really the décor and atmosphere are very welcoming. Bex was very helpful and I settled on a Spanx bra (who knew they made them? Not me.) And I have been very pleased with the purchase.
I do wish Bex and her shop all the best.
I really wanted to like this place and support local business but I get the sense the owner might not put much effort into new clients. I had heard about the Grand Opening of the store but had a conflict on the day they opened. I went 2 weeks later.
First off — if you are not REALLY familiar with downtown Grayslake you will pass right by the place — which I did 3 times. The shop is actually a blue house. Add to it when I called there were issues with the phone line — obviously not something the shop could have controlled and it very well could have been my phone.
So once I got the location nailed down I was there in a Jiffy. I walked in after a couple and you really do feel like you are walking into someones home. It appears what used to be the Living Room was converted to the shop. I felt a bid odd walking into this and I really felt that maybe I should have made an appointment based on how the owner (I assume) interacted with the couple that entered before me. She fitted me very quickly and did a good job. She was honest and said that she was out of stock of many things due to the popularity of the Grand Opening. I understood and wound up leaving my name, phone number and email address. She even made a point to say she would email me photos of what would be coming in stock so I could see things before I came in. I thought how wonderful and what great customer service.
Alas, this never happened. I followed up with the shop (via Facebook) and to this day have not heard back. The Facebook page is also updated regularly so I really get the sense the owner doesn’t seem to care about loosing a new potential customer. It really saddens me because I support local businesses as much as possible and frequent the Grayslake Farmer Market routinely in the warmer months.
Due to the lack of interest from the owner I wound up going to Nordstrom where I found something to get me by. I really would have preferred to give my money to The Fitting Room than Nordstrom. I could have traveled to an Intimacy store (which I’ve done in the past) to get fitted but again wanted to support local and not have to drive nearly an hour to be fitted for a bra.
Maybe in the future I will reconsider going here but if customer service and response isn’t addressed coupled with the shop location… it’s not going to last very long.
