The food is pretty good, but really nothing special. Way way over-priced. Seriously crazy up charging for substituting fries for a very tiny side salad. The owner is very nice. We’ve had a young female waitress who is very rude and actually offensive. Okay went back again. I can’t complain about the food. But, this time they charged the three of us $ 5 each for a dessert plate and a fork for cutting a birthday cake that we brought with us. That was more than the birthday cake cost.

Excellent and impeccable food and service. A hidden treasure! I definitely recommend everyone try this place and support a local farm-to-table establishment. Cute ambiance as well. I really like this place.

A local gem where freshly made food and hand crafted drinks abound. Graft is a favorite date night place for the wife and I. It’s also one of our fave places for a Friday night cocktail after a long week to unwind and enjoy great company.

I had wanted to try Graft previously, but the location wasn’t doable until tonight. My mother is wheel-chair stricken, but I didn’t want to let that get in the way of our family having a great meal. Initially I had wanted to take everyone to The Georgia Pine, but to our dismay, it’s been closed. Well, after that news I had to quickly make a decision. Graft fit well. The ladyfriend and I visit small, intimate restaurants quite a bit, but it changes things when I am attempting to include my mother and her special needs. I made reservations, and contacted Graft to be sure it was logistically feasible, and they made our night as well as could be expected. Our server did everything she could to make our dinner great, even considering that our family can be a handful in regards to corny jokes, and special needs. All-in-all, the small house that Graft is situated in made for a very personal atmosphere, which fit considering the family I was a-party to. The food choices span the usual types from fish to steak, but Graft puts a lot of attention to unique flavors and choices that my family may not have been used to, but I am. I had to assist the family make choices regarding ingredients that they have never experienced. It seems that these little dinner-trips help my mother experience the world, even with her disabilities, which is her only outlet for diversity. Graft’s chef suited the palettes perfectly, from the fish dish, to the cheese boards, to the desserts. While, not perfection, the attempts were very near, which is more than I can ask from any restaurant in the area(aside from The Local Republic). I would say that at least the ladyfriend and I will return to try Graft’s diverse, and ever-changing menu.

I am a little surprised by some of these reviews. I eat at Graft for lunch by myself or date night with my wife. We have had some amazing drinks and the food portion size are appropriate. Since the food is fresh, the menu adjusts with the season. If I am not finding what I like, my default meal is the burger(which is great!). They will swap out the sides if you don’t want fries. The owners always make an effort to visit us and catch up on life’s events. Graft is where you go when you want a meal with amazing flavor, a nice drink and cool atmosphere. It reminds me of some of my favorite restaurants in town.

LOVETHESERVICE!!! Catherine is amazing!!! Food was awesome! We got the graft burger & the sirloin! They change their menu often & have awesome deals during the week day! Tonight’s special un-corked Thursdays, which means generous pours of select wine for only $ 5! Also, bottles are available for $ 20! We will definitely be back for more!!!

«If anything is good for pounding humility into you permanently, it’s the restaurant business.» Anthony Bourdain Anthony’s obviously not been to Graft restaurant, where being arrogant to diners appears to be the order of the day. It’s ok, you can give that one a skip, Anthony. Why? We expected a nice time at the pretty restaurant with an inventive menu of fresh, local foods. However, it took more than an hour to be served, we couldn’t get drinks, the food ran out, the bill was inaccurate, a 20% tip was imposed, and… when we mentioned it, the owner and the server were disrespectful and argumentative with us. Customer service? Courtesy? Southern hospitality? Nope, Anthony, they’ve never heard of it there at Graft.

I really like graft. It is the best restaurant in the area by far, and its great to have a place that is not a chain, and relies on real farm raised food. They treat food as an art and it shows. I have had some misses here, but they try, and I respect that. Most of the time they hit it out of the park. And their alcoholic drinks are great too and inventive.

HUGE disappointment! New to the area and looking for a local favorite… this is NOT it! Service was terrible, waitress was inattentive which was surprising for a small venue. A cheese plate and deviled egg appetizer took 45 minutes. Two entrees ordered at the same time as appetizers took over an hour. Don’t mind a long dinner if it’s worth it but this was NOT. Curry pasta tasted fresh but didNOT even resemble curry flavor. Had to ask for more water after given a 4oz glass to start. Prices for what we got was outrageous! Will definitely NOT go back. Can I give minus stars? That’s how disappointed I was!

Highly, highly overrated and over priced. Minuscule portions and certainly nothing special to your tastebuds.

Went here for brunch with some friends and I loved it! They have wine tastings & a menu that is seasonal. It’s a warm atmosphere that has a sense of home. Be sure to try them next time you’re in Grayson!

Graft is the epitome of farm-to-table excellence in both service and food. The owners make you feel right at home, the drinks are beautifully executed(The Underwood being my personal favorite) and their food is delicious from the first bite through to dessert and coffee. The décor is gorgeous and very homely as well. I’ve bookmarked Graft as I intend return time and time again to sample everything they have to offer!

Summary: 4.5 stars. As local and farm-to-table fresh as possible charcuterie with fruits and vegetables over cocktails in an ambient relaxed atmosphere that feels like a piece of upscale Atlanta in the city of Grayson, GA. My cousin, friend, and I didn’t plan and set out to go to Graft but it was in my bookmarks and we were in Grayson already. We walked in to the restaurant and instantly I was admiring their tea-pot looking things that were candle-looking things. I don’t know what they’re called, but they looked awesome! We decided to sit outside. All the tables were wooden and it added to the naturey atmosphere and theme of Graft. We got the menu and already we were having trouble deciding on cocktails and appetizers. I decided to try the Rosy Daly cocktail and it was an amazing choice. The honey tastes awesome with the vodka and it tastes like you’re drinking sweet flowers. The server mentioned that you can get this cocktail with bourbon instead of vodka also. We ended up deciding to share a cheese board. However, we wanted some meats on it also so the server was nice enough to combine the cheese board and hog & pickle board choosing a few of each board. The boards are easily shared by 5 people. It’s a huge amount of food! We were actually super full after this and already trying to figure out how we’re going to eat our entrees. For the charcuterie, they make their own cheeses and use local farms for their fruits and vegetables. Their apples and pears tasted really fresh. All the vegetables were great. For the cheeses, I really liked their pimento and garganzola. I didn’t really like the ricotta. For the meats, all the proscuitto and salami was great. Up until this point, I was almost having a new favorite restaurant. However, the entrees were a let down for us. We got the«hog» and the«brisket». I guess we were craving BBQ. Graft is not the place to get BBQ though. I enjoyed the brisket, but it didn’t have enough sauce for me. The asparagus was awesome also. However, the potato gratin that came with the brisket fell short. It wasn’t flavorful enough and it was inconsistent. The«hog» was pulled pork. The pulled pork was very dry and also needed some type of sauce. We were shy to ask for some kind of sauce. I felt like it wasn’t proper etiquette at this type of place: P. However, the mashed potatoes that came with the hog were amazing. One great thing about this place is that it is seasonal and their menu changes about every 6 weeks. I am definitely going to try this place again and hopefully they’ll have different entrees that I like better than these. Service wise, our server was super awesome! She was really fun to talk to and gave us great suggestions and tips and was always making sure we are ok. Even the owner came by even though she was on crutches and asked if everything was ok. You definitely get that Southern Hospitality at Graft.
