Picked up some donuts and coffee this am, as we were leaving Great Barrington to come home to NJ. The donuts were crisp on the outside, light and fluffy inside. A nice variety. The service was very pleasant, and the coffee very good. A nice way to end our vacation.

Fantastic selection of donuts, croissants and savory breakfast sandwiches. We went back for seconds — for breakfast! Very friendly service — we’ll be back.

This place is so cute the owners are a delight to talk to. The donuts are delicious they even have an old fashioned soda shop counter set up which is pretty cool. great place for donuts in South County.

Best doughnuts in the Berkshires! Home Sweet Home hits it out of the park. I’m a glazed yeast fan but their cake doughnuts are so spectacular that they’ll make a convert out of the most committed.

I visited Stockbridge earlier this year in February. Was driving down when I suddenly saw this cute little shop. We parked and ran in because I’m from Miami and let’s face it, my blood doesn’t do good in the cold. Lol The owner of the shop was so friendly and loved talking with us. They had hot chocolate and an assortment of donuts. We stocked up for the entire weekend. They were delicious, and I will need to go back here when I visit again!

This is a great old time doughnut shop with great coffee. They even have a counter to sit at and be served. My only regret is not stopping by 5 years ago. Get a dozen because they will go fast. The staff is super nice too.

I just recently moved to Great Barrington and have seen this place many time driving past. I finally stopped in one morning to bring donuts to work and I wasn’t disappointed! The staff was incredibly friendly and the donuts were AMAZING! I can’t say it enough, they were incredible. My boyfriend is a huge fan of apple cider donuts and he literally has to restrain himself from grabbing one most mornings. They’ve yet to disappoint :)

YUM! I love this place. I would go in here most Fridays to get myself and my boss a treat. Definitely steps above Dunkin’ Donuts. Staff is so so friendly and such a pleasure to talk to in the morning. Would definitely recommend. Oh, and try the Chai tea latte, freshly made!

I was in the area and we passed by this donut place and decided to give it try. It was early in the morning and seeing this place we were craving for donuts. We got 4 different donuts and it came out to be almost $ 6. I had the classic chocolate frosting donut with sprinkles. It’s not the best donuts I ever had. It taste similar to dunkin donuts and the donuts weren’t bad. The donuts are bigger than dunkin donuts and they have more variety.

John and Deb run a first class operation. Their honeydew style donuts are exceptionally good. The Berkshire Bomb is also noteworthy If you’re tired of the «styrofoam» doughnut offerings of Dunkin’ Donuts, then you owe it to yourself to try what doughnuts should taste like on your next trip to the Berkshires.

You can’t go wrong with the doughnuts here. Absolutely fabulous. I’ve also come in at lunch and enjoyed fairly simple food then. But the doughnuts. They’re worth giving as a gift if you can restrain yourself.

Best doughnuts I’ve ever had! John and Debbie are so sweet and a pleasure to work with. They catered our wedding at Race Brook Lodge with lots of mini doughnuts and poppers in place of a cake. Our guests are still talking about them! Plan on coming here for years to come whenever we are in town. We can’t thank you guys enough for doing such a wonderful job!

I didn’t know donuts got so pricey, but glad we stopped by here on our trip to this area! We got a pretty amazing apple fritter cider donut thing that kind of blew our minds. It was gigantic too, so that was one Matt J. and I saved for later, and chose to eat our chocolate and pumpkin spiced donuts right away.
But I have to say that the pumpkin spice was just not really there… And I think those two donuts were nothing in comparison to that crazy concoction we ate later which was fluffy and wonderful and spiced to perfection. So I think I would urge you all to go big and crazy with your donut purchases here, since that was what won us over!

Love this place!
I am not really a doughnut person per se, so for breakfast one morning I had the bacon biscuit. It was scrumptious! Since I do have a sweet tooth (make that teeth) I also had one of their mini cinnamon rolls. John warmed it a bit and it was wonderful.
Also, I indulged in the decadent hot chocolate with whipped cream on top, and thoroughly enjoyed that 100 percent as well.
The next day I tried the Caramel Apple doughnut and found a new favorite. So delicious! I took an extra one for on the road — it hit the spot while traveling.
The owners are warm and friendly and the food is fantastic. If you’re in the area, stop in and try their menu. They have homemade soups and some sandwich items in addition to all the fabulous doughnuts and sweets. Plus, there is a large selection of beverages to quench your thirst or satisfy your cravings. You won’t be disappointed. You’ll be blessed!

I was blown away by this place. The coffee was exceptionally good, and I have to say I have never been a big doughnut person, but wow! This place is delicious! The staff was super-​friendly, as well.
If I am ever in the area again, I WILL be stopping at Home Sweet Home!

I am a huge doughnut lover. I have traveled the world (recently ate a great donut in Israel) in search of the best donuts and I have found them in my in-​laws back yard here in Great Barrington. Home Sweet Home Doughnut Shoppe is as good as it gets. They have super service, amazing doughnuts, fantastic flavors, and the nicest staff. On a recent visit, I inquired as to whether or not they’d be making their Toasted Coconut Doughnuts (my favorite) that day. The cashier, who I later learned was the owner, told me that they weren’t planning on it, but she’d make sure they cooked one just for me. Less than five minutes later I was given a Toasted Coconut Doughnut. This place is fantastic.
My advice, get the #1… Two doughnuts and a large coffee. This will allow you to get your favorite doughnut as well as try something new!

I’m so gld I finally stopped into this donut shop! I’ve alway passed by this place but never really gave it much though because it always looked closed. I booked marked this place and made it a point to stop by this weekend on my most recent trip up to Great Barrington.
I got the croissant, honey glazed, mini apple fritter, butter crunch and a cheese danish. The place closes early (2 or 3 pm) and we got there at about noon. Everything was melt in your mouth good!
I will definitely be back and I am adding this to my Great Barrington routine.

My family LOVES Home Sweet Home. Since they opened this year we stop in every weekend we are in the Berkshires. The owners are great and their doughnuts are THE BEST.
We love them!!!
By the way, we bought a ½ dozen and brought them back to NYC, well they didn’t make it.

Wow, maybe the best donuts I ever had; big selection of many types. All homemade! The Coffee was very good too.
Really cute family run shop, they also have breakfast sandwiches and soups and such.
This place was just plain cool, the owner was very friendly and quickly added maple frosting to a plain donut, after I inquired about them being out of them?
This will be a regular stop for me anytime I’m in town (located right next to the Lanternhouse Motel) Dunkin Who?!
