Gambino’s Pizza

HORRIBLE customer service!!! I ordered dinner at 6:30pm on a Tuesday night after arriving at my hotel. At 8:10pm I called the restaurant to inquire as to why my dinner hadn’t been delivered when I already received the confirmation email and my credit card HAD BEEN CHARGED the full amount. The «manager» girl I spoke to told me she didn’t receive my online order, my card was never charged and that it was my problem, not hers or the restaurant’s! Obviously I informed her if my card was charged, we would have a problem. I then ordered dinner from Pizza Hut. At 8:25pm the owner of Gambino’s Pizza in Great Bend, KS called me to explain all of the excuses as to why the restaurant didn’t receive my order, but yet she received it on her cell phone! She also informed me that my credit card WAS charged in full! I will NEVER order from this restaurant again and will tell everyone and anyone who asks for a reference about what happened. This is either a complete scam or else another example of an incompetent person trying to run a business! It gets 1 star only because it won’t allow me to give it 0!

In Great Bend, your choices if you wanted pizza were either Pizza Hut (10^th Street), Pizza Hut (Jackson Square), or Pizza Hut (Main Street). Gambinos gives the locals another choice and its a good one. It’s a bit pricier than Pizza Hut, but it tastes better, too. They do have a buffet, but they really need to stock it better. I went there the other day on the noon hour, and you had to fight off other people just to get a few slices. But overall this is a good place to eat.

Good pizza, despite some negative feedback from locals. New York style, with a thinner crust than the big chains. Prompt, friendly service when we ordered and picked up for take-​out. Still hot, with melty cheese and crispy crust when we arrived at our destination — the Best Western. Definitely a great option if you’d prefer a local pizza over a big chain– in fact, maybe the only option.

Very slow. 33 minutes to get a meatball sub? That’s ridiculous. Staff not particularly friendly. Almost like it was an inconvenience for us to be there.
I won’t go out of my way to go back.

Gambino’s is the best pizza you’ll find in Great Bend. Much better than Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, Papa Murphy’s and … well, that’s about it. There aren’t many pizza choices.
Actually, when it’s fresh, Gambino’s is pretty decent. It’s not the best, but it’s not bad. Service is good and the building is nice, though certainly not upscale.
I’m not a fan of the buffet; the pizza tends to lose some of its flavor after about 10 minutes on the buffet, and the options are pretty limited.
They are open until about 9:00 pm, which is later than some other places in town.

Pretty average pizza. Slightly undercooked and tasteless but I guess quick service. I understand why they have so many coupons now… Hit and miss
