Great independent restaurant — there are maybe 8 tables. The menu has the traditional daily lunch special with desert. The bacon cheeseburger with tater tots hit the spot for me.

LeAnn’s is not a bad place to eat, but not great, either. The menu is pretty limited; seating is also pretty limited. Service is decent, but not exceptional. The food is «home made» type food, but again, nothing special.
Very reasonably priced.
Also, they DO NOT TAKE CREDIT/​DEBIT Cards.

Stopped by and had the bacon cheeseburger with curly fries and it was excellent. Service was fast and friendly even though they were busy. The size of the crowd to me indicated this was a popular place and it was very reasonably priced (which I would expect to find in a town with a college). Don’t leave without getting a .99 ice cream cone!

Leann’s has been around for about 20 years now, and despite the outward (i.e. dilapidated) appearance of the building, the food is really quite good. They have a good mixture of various entrees, including homecooked type items and hamburgers and such. The daily specials always offer a good value for a full meal They even make a pretty good bierock.
This is a great place to have lunch, or even go through the drivethru. Don’t let the crappy sign and peeling paint of the building deter you from trying Leann’s.
