Actually, the other reviewer is incorrect — the only part of the park behind chain link fence is the section used by the Analemma Society — a group of star gazers who gather there on Friday evenings. Check out their website for their activities and plans for the site. The bulk of the park is actually wide open and fully accessible. There are large fields with jumps for horses, dog walking, etc.; a huge arena and round pen for individual riders to use and for horse shows; a lovely picnic pavilion with grills and tables, and a small tot lot. Since it was saved from development by the horse community and others who wanted to protect the open space, it is geared towards low impact activities. No ball fields, no lights, no dog park. The gravel path from the parking lot provides access to the arena and acres of fields.

Nice park, however, most of it is inaccessible because it is behind a locked fence! Beautiful trees on the property. There is a horse trail the doubles as a walking trail-just watch where you step.
