I originally joined Better Body Bootcamp using a Groupon for one month with a close friend. We were both anxious, out of shape, and fearful to even walk in. After gathering the courage to walk in we were immediately greeted by the owner who explained everything in great detail. Yes, the first day was extremely hard and painful but I smiled and laughed through most of it. From this day on, I continued every day for a month. I IMMEDIATELY saw results. After my one month discounted rate ended, I continued with the program for another seven months. I went from weighing 183lbs to a healthy and toned 160lbs. I went approximately 5⁄6 times a week and changed my eating habits. You get exactly what you put into the program, so go hard! Everyone at Better Body Bootcamp is friendly and helpful. The trainers are one of a kind. They are dedicated and full of energy(DOESNOTMATTERWHATTIMEOFDAY). Salim, the main trainer is always changing things up and making things interesting. His obstacle courses are tough but worth every minute. You can ALWAYS see him dancing and jamming out to his music while the class is in session. I still find it incredible that he can remember everyone’s name so quickly! After each class, you are a puddle of sweat and full of endorphins. I would highly recommend Better Body Bootcamp to anyone looking to fulfill a healthier lifestyle!

I know it’s kind of too soon to write a review since I’ve only just completed my second class, but I have a strong feeling my mind is made up already. I love this place.(Too soon??) lol I burned 667 calories the first class and today I took a 5 pm class and burned 741 calories in one hour!!! I was sweating EVERYWHERE! I can see how this can become an addiction. I really wish I had found this place sooner. I purchased a groupon for a month of unlimited classes and I can say upfront that this was a great purchase. Hopefully I can make it a long term investment Update: I haven’t been to better body in a handful of months since I’ve been undergoing training for my new job. But I must say, the one month I spent and the results I saw kept me motivated to keep losing weight. Granted, my current training as helped me get into shape, but I have to thank BBB for launching my fitness journey.

I’ve been attending BBB since January 2014. A groupon purchase introduced me to the place and after barely surviving the first class, I now manage to average attending 4 – 5 classes a week. I was never much of a gym rat but whenever I did join, I soon lost interest as I can’t stand machines and weights. You either really need to know what you are doing or hire a personal trainer to teach and develop a plan for you. I didn’t need to lose weight when I joined. I’d already done that on my own by cleaning up my diet and focusing on me after having three kids. I did know I’d need to incorporate exercise for overall health, endurance, tightening up, building muscle and sustaining my weight loss. Needless to say, BBB has done that. As a side note, all my measurements have gone down and the only thing I do is this so I know it works. Key benefits of this place: –you pay monthly(best deal is to pay the annual fee upfront) and get unlimited classes. Most other places I looked into made you pay for set number of visits per week. –you can just walk right in. This is key for me. I think I can make a 5pm class but then it turns out I can only make a 6pm class. No problem here. Many other places make you reserve the class you are attending. That would never work for me. –don’t need to think. You just follow the trainers lead and you’ll be sweating in no time. Good mix of cardio/strength training(with weights and/or body weight as resistance) and circuit style classes that keep you on your toes and ensures that every class is different. You’re not going to get bored. They like to promote a family/we’re all friends environment but for me, that’s not the case. I know this is a problem in lots of gyms but luckily, I’m just going for the workout. The trainers and staff are all nice so no issues there.
