Top notch quality beers. Rarely do I order a flight at a brewery and am not able to determine their weakness. Enjoyed each taste on this flight. But the darker beers here take the spotlight. Porters especially good! Interior could use a little work, but doesn’t detract from the goods.

Little spot. Frequent this place once a month while I’m in town. Great Beer on tap. I enjoy the flagships and the seasonal Wee Heavy and bourbon barrel porter the most.

Wiley Roots was the last stop on our Greeley beer tour, and it was pretty anticlimactic. The interior isn’t much to look at, and there is very little outdoor seating. The beers were fine but not excellent. The beertender was nice though!

I love this place. Their stalwart beers are always quality and on point and they offer a lot diversity to keep you wanting to come back and try something new. They’re a bit off the beaten path, but they are worth the trip. This is my first choice in Greeley!

Brewery is a hidden gem in town. Local feel but world class beers. Love the depth in the beers and variety always on tap. A must stop if you are into craft beers.

In my opinion one of the best breweries in town. It’s cozy, friendly and a great place to hang out! If you’re finding yourself wondering what to do with your afternoon head over for some delicious brew and a game of corn hole.

I love this place. It was like a second home for me in my last year of college. Owned by great people and they brew solid beer. Couldn’t ask for more!

Earlier in the day, on our visit to Greeley, the folks at Crabtree told us we should check out Wiley Roots, who operate out of the original Crabtree location. I really like that most brewers seem to have a strong sense of camaraderie and would much rather build each other up, than tear one another down. This location is definitely on the other side of the tracks(right next to them), just north of the big silos. We did not have too much trouble finding the place(thank you Google map app), although it was after dark and not that well lit. Wiley Roots is at the end of a dead end street, just past Syntax Spirits Distillery and Cocktail Bar(they even share a bathroom). I am sad to say that this was our last stop of the evening and my memory of the beers I enjoyed is not as sharp as I might prefer. But, I do remember starting with the Super 77 Wheat. This beer earned a bronze at the 2013GABF and is more than drinkable. We hung out on the patio, enjoying the very mild October night, while a couple trains went by, and the large ginger cat from Syntax paid us a visit. The folks we met seemed pretty easy going(no surprise for most smaller breweries). If you are doing a Greeley brewery crawl, this one should definitely be on your list.

This place is worth finding. We stopped by on a Sunday and were lucky enough to meet the owner on our way in. He was excited to talk beer and he has plenty of gems to sample. My favorite was the Wheat beer, which had justifiably won a medal at GABF. The Kolch was also beyond good. These guys are worth keeping an eye on. We will be back!

Wiley Roots Brewing is in the same location where Crabtree Brewing used to be. It is also right by Syntax Distillery. This was my first time to this new brewery since Crabtree was here and the setup is very different. The tap room is more inviting than it used to be, that much is for certain! I got a Chocolate Porter and it was alright. It was not too sweet but not amazingly distinctive either. It had a wonderful body to it! Since I was on a mini tour I just got the one beer here. I might have liked their lighter beers better like the wheat for example. The staff here is very friendly and quite helpful!

The beer is great(I especially like their Super 77 Wheat and Red Wiley Amber). The folks are friendly. The bar is open and inviting. Plus, the owners are more than happy to explain their whole process to you and show you what they do. Wiley Roots is a great addition to the craft brewing scene.

Good brews, intimate setting, decent selection too! Nice to see another local brewer on the NoCo scene. Can’t wait to see what they brew up next!

Absolute great time! Great beers at fantastic prices, friendly staff. I want to become a regular here. I do wish they served food beyond popcorn, even just nachos.
