Food was below average, service was painfully slow, and the guy who took our order was higher than a kite.

I usually love cousins. Just got a a veggie with cheese. It was so bad I lost my appetite. Brown cucumbers, frothy Nasty tomatoes, slimy gross spinach and stale bread. When I told the staff the just stood there, stoned I’m sure. If I ran a restaurant I would sooner close my doors than actually expect people to pay to eat nasty garbage food. I’m sad I paid for rotten veggies and stale bread. Don’t waste your money.

It’s a lot pricier than Subway, but the subs taste better. Ordered the Cubano and it was delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh and I like that the meat was served hot without toasting the bread. It kept the bread nice and soft. Service was pretty quick. The restaurant is a little dingy, so maybe next time I’ll opt for takeout and also save the $ 2.50 I paid extra for chips and a drink.

I like Cousin’s subs. Infinitely better than any sub sandwich chain in the SF Bay Area. Why is that? Every time I head back to GB I stop here for a cheap meal and get a chicken breast sub… better bread does equal better subs. Oh, and they give you a little cookie in your bag when you take out. That’s amazing! Nothing better than a few sweet bites after a good sandwich!
