Lambeau Field

it was a nice tour to do once, but i probably won’t do it again… first, we started in the atrium. learned about the history of the atrium. then we went outside. learned about the renovations to the stadium. then we went to a suite. learned more about the renovations. then we went thru the players tunnel to the field. (you don’t get to go into the locker room) and on to the field… guess what you learn more about. did you say «renovations»? if so, give yourself a point. not much history to be learned about. just about the 10 different phases of stadium renovations. for the most storied franchise in nfl history, you don’t get a lot of history to go along with the tour.

We were visiting family in the area and thought we stop by to check out the stadium. It was bit pricy but worth it. We toured the Hall of Fame which was truly nostalgic and beautifully done up displaying the spirit and history of the Packers. I can appreciate it despite not being a Packers fan. We also did the Classic Stadium tour and was able to see the field from a private suite, walk through the players tunnel (I swear you can smell the sweat lol), and we were able to get down to the field. It was an amazing feeling and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos. It is a beautiful stadium and then workers certainly take a lot of pride in their work which is even more admirable. It is a definitely a must see if you’re in the Green Bay area.

Regardless if you are a packers fan or not… go on a tour and learn the history. Worth every penny of the tour even if there was a Bears fan in our group. Beautiful space! Go pack go!

Incredible Love for Lambeau! They do so much for the community and keeping their fans engaged!

I’d give it 10 stars if I could. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing our visit was. My son and I despite sitting freezing in the rain for hours wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else. They Beat the Cowboys, I spent lots of money in the best team store I’ve ever seen and we went home happy and plan on coming back every year till we can’t anymore. GO PACK GO!

Very cool place to visit (wasn’t there for a game, just to see it). If you want to go on a tour either show up early or expect very long lines. Store there is huge, so if you want anything Packers… they will have it.

Jerry’s world has nothing on Lambeau. Most awesome stadium for the NFL I have ever seen. Such tradition. Being an Alabama and Packers fan this is an incredible trip for me. Bryant Denny is the most awesome college stadium and while I’m biased national writers have said the same. Lambeau is the best. Tour guide was awesome and very lively. Great time for sure.

I’m sure the tour guide tells everyone that they’ll get chills when they walk through the tunnel on the tour. And being the sometimes emotionless skeptic that I am, I thought, «I’m sure it’ll be cool, but chills? C’mon dude.» Well, I got chills. There’s something about walking through that tunnel that the players get to run through at each home game with that announcer and music playing — it pretty amazing and you can’t help but smile from ear to ear, as you have a packer fan nerd out moment.
Tip: go on the tour during football season, the field is painted. During off season, it’s just a big piece of grass…

So cool! Even on the bye week there was tons of things to do and see. To be driving through a residential area down a residential street and then come up to this huge stadium is a very surreal experience. Everything is within walking distance of the stadium. There is a cool jersey/​gift shop across the street next to Brett Farve’s Steakhouse. The tour is so worth it! Spend the extra money on the Champions tour. They let you go out on a deck below the south end scoreboard, visit one of the luxury skyboxes and walk through the south end tunnel on to the field (don’t touch the grass!!). A lot of great photo moments! Green Bay itself is a great little town.

This hurts so much… Can’t give this sacred place a 5 Star rating simply because the metal benches that I pay over $ 100 to sit on. AND because you literally get about the size of an iPad to actually sit on! Believe it or not, most people in Wisconsin have larger than average asses! Add the cold whether games were you have to layer up, and it can lead to a very uncomfortable 3+ hours.
That said… The rest of this complex is remarkable! The Atrium is really cool, and also a warm safe haven during the cold games! The Pro Shop and Stadium Tour is a must stop and see for every Packer Fan and Visiting Football Fan.
I love the plans for the future that the Packers have for the new Stadium District and can’t wait for them to come to fruition. Small town with big dreams.

Lambeau Field has been at the top of my list of NFL Stadiums to visit for quite some time. I finally made the trip out to Green Bay to witness the Seahawks vs Packers SNF game as part of my epic football vacation.
My friend and I arrived to the stadium about two hours before kick off. Traffic was minimal and the stadium was extremely easy to get to. We were coming from Neenah (about 35 minutes away). Parking was super easy to find — don’t worry about purchasing a parking pass prior to the game unless you absolutely don’t want to walk too far. We ended up paying $ 10 and parked at the Chuck E Cheese, which was about a 10 minute walk to the stadium. Not bad at all. Many nearby businesses offer their lots for parking — ranging from $ 10 to $ 25 depending how close to the stadium it is.
There’s not too much around Lambeau Field, but I’m guessing there’s not too much in Green Bay in general. I actually enjoyed seeing all the homes surrounding the stadium and seeing all the locals tailgate in their backyard.
The stadium is very traditional. Don’t come here expecting a revamped modern stadium like Lucas Oil or Jerry’s World. Sometimes it’s good to just keep things simple! There’s a few great photo ops around the stadium, like «the leap».
Yes, the seats are bleachers. I, personally, had no problem with that.
The game we went to was in September, but at night… sooo it was pretty chilly. Be prepared! Bring a sweater or something because it does get cold at night. I didn’t come prepared at all, but luckily for me the Packers fans next to me were sweethearts. They gave me one of their sweatshirts to wear for the night since they could tell I was freezing. That’s another aspect I’d like to hit on. The atmosphere! It was great! Everyone was friendly even to the fans of the opposing team. You pretty much felt like everyone was part of a huge family.
The food is pretty basic, but there are stands that over up a different take on your normal stadium food. For instance, my friend got a huge hot dog with bbq pulled pork and fried onions on it. I got nachos that came with homemade kettle chips, bbq brisket, sour cream, cheese, and fried onions. They were both delicious. They also offer cheese curds (duh). The prices are your typical event pricing — overcharged for simple food and domestic beers.
Overall, I had a great time and I’m so glad I get to cross this stadium off my NFL stadium bucket list! It didn’t disappoint!

This place is amazing on game day! There’s so much energy, and all of the people are great here. Makes me miss the Midwest.
We came here for the 2015 home opener against the Seahawks. Traffic and parking were amazingly smooth. With only two exceptions (who happened to be seated right behind me), the Seahawks fans were great. We had seats near the end zone, and I love that the seating isn’t as steep as other stadiums (I’m looking at you, Raymond James).
Lambeau ALMOST loses a star for two reasons: the first is the bleachers. The seats have no back to them. Something to do with tradition, I’m told. This is a problem because of my wife’s back. The couple next to us rented seat cushions, but they don’t stay in place very well. The second is the food. We ordered chicken strips and waffle fries for a considerably low price. I guess you get what you pay for. Neither tasted very good. But the price was right… I guess…
Food and seating aside, a game at Lambeau is an experience not to be missed!

Even though my team didn’t win, I loved seeing a game at Lambeau. It was the most friendly stadium I’ve ever been in and the fans, for the most part, really treat out of towners a-​ok. Out of 78,000 people, only 3 or 4 were annoying to us Seahawks fans which is downright impressive. It helped that we had killer 6^th row seats and the action was right in front of us the whole time too!
The parking is atrocious, but the tail gating scene is the best in the biz. Fans really do it up right, grilling out and putting up flags and truly settling in hours before home games. We wondered around with our friends and met a bunch of people before the game. I didn’t see one incident beforehand, but per the news there was about 30 something people who got in trouble post game. Again, out of 78,000 people? Thats nothing!
All the foods! We had brats, cheese curds, brews and more. For a sport experience, they cook it up right at Lambeau.
The stadium itself is going through a ton of upgrades, even in the last year — and according to this article
the upcoming development will make this historic field and even bigger draw, truly benefiting the town of Green Bay where only about 100,000 people are residents.
I think the passion of the locals and the respect visitors give to the ground will maintain what Lambeau is really all about — as long as they let Packer’s fans be Packer’s fans, it should go well and be a positive change.
If you love the game, this is a must on your bucket list.

I am not a football head but seeing as I was in Green Bay, WI helping my brother move into his college dorm I had to stop by. The stadium is impressive, so much history and you can feel, see and sense the pride that the Green Bay Packers bring to Wisconsin.
I took the classic stadium tour for $ 15, there are two other tours (legend tour and forgot the name of the other one for die hard Cheeseheads and packer fans!).
The views of the stadiums and history and knowledge of the tour guides was informative. Even a non football fan or Packer fan like myself enjoyed the tour.
Most of the fan patrons were from the Midwest except a Californian couple and man from New York, myself and a Australian couple were those representating Internationals.
The Pro Shop was interesting too and packed with Packers fans.
All in all a great visit.

Unfortunately I came when the HOF was under construction so I definitely have to come back for a tour or something but this place screams history. Its old school and one of the best places on earth in my opinion. I’m a huge Packer Backer though so meh! The only complaint I have is the beer selection during the game. I’m more a craft and exotic beer man myself and the selection here isn’t that good. I drank a bunch of Reds Apple Ale though so it made up for it. The pro shop is amazing and I can’t stress how badass the tail gating is in this place all around the stadium! Great time. great fun :)

We were in town for Memorial Day — just as a getaway — no other reason. And we decided to visit Lambeau Field — for no other reason than to just check it out.
We’re not Packers (GO BEARS!!!) fans (though my daughter has decided she is, and we had to stop in the pro shop to buy her a tshirt … man that hurt) — but we took a tour and enjoyed it immensely. It was very interesting and we had a great time.
Wouldn’t even mind going again.

Crazy nice place. Took the champions tour, I most assuredly recommend. I’m not a packers fan but another couple trips here and I think I could convert.

WHAT a rad place. Hi, from San Diego CA.
I knew nothing walking into the stadium, my BF’s parents bought us your tickets (~15 per ticket) and we had Dave as our tour guide.. We spent about 50 mins on our tour we got to see the club seats, the tunnel (nope, no locker room admittance, allowed) and then onto the field. So incredible, woefully majestic. We took multiple pictures and enjoyed every minute. The gift shop is 20,000 square feet and had everything from hats to scrubs to women’s panties. (lol) we will be back Sunday for the packers VS panthers. :)
Hope you do decide to come even to take a tour. Totally worth it, and If I’m correct they have multiple tours all day about 20 – 30 mins apart. Excellent tour guides. Thanks Dave! :)

I’ve always wanted to come here, and I didn’t leave disappointed. There is so much that can be said about Lambeau, so I’ll just mention what I experienced. A fabulous tour with tour guides that were very informative and interactive, cool employees at Curly’s Pub, and being within an iconic stadium that gives an impression of remarkable renovation to it over the years. I made one comment to the tour guide that although this stadium is old (built in 57′ as New City Stadium), the renovations make it feel very new.
I was very impressed with the Champions Tour level. Tickets normally range around $ 350 – 400 a game with a 3-​year commitment. The team has had this stadium sold out since the arrival of Vince Lombardi, so I think that the best way to get tickets is to beg for mercy among the locals as well as those ticket holders around the state, particularly in the Milwaukee area. The atrium area is truly nice, and if you look closely, you’ll see a mirror image of the field, complete with yard markers.
If there is one thing that I don’t like about Lambeau, its the fact that the seats within the bowl itself are made of aluminum. I never knew that until I was actually there. If you are going to a game for the first time, I highly recommended checking out the team’s website to see if you can bring a seat cushion or if one is provided for you. Otherwise, your butt is gonna be grilled cheese in the summer and custard after November.
Either which way, this field is a must-​see if you are a true fan of the game of football. I truly felt very welcome here in the house of the 13-​time world champions.
