Terrible service and from the other reviews I should have checked Unilocal first. We came here on a terrible recommendation and that person is now dead to me. In all seriousness this place won’t be open long… banks got to be closing in.

We won’t go back. We stood at the hostess stand(as the sign said to) and waited to be seated. After about 5 minutes the bartender came out from behind the bar to ask if we wanted a table. She seemed to be the only one actually working, and she was really working hard. We sat down and almost left because nobody came to even take a drink order. Just as we thought about leaving, a waitress came to get us drinks. I asked about two beers on the menu and it was very obvious thay she didn’t know the difference between any of them. I ended up ordering the wheat beer, and it was actually pretty good. Food… not so much. It really wasn’t too busy. There was a birthday party and our waitress obviously knew the people she ignored us most of the time, or just generally wasnt very helpful. When she did check to see how our food was, I replied thay the burger tasted good, but the fries were ice cold. She asked if I would like tater tots instead?(No, but hot or even lukewarm fries would be ok – not sure why she offered tater tots). Now for food taste– the burger tasted good, and the pretzel bun was very good. However, there was very little meat for an $ 11 burger. It was very thin(think Culvers snack pack menu) and we found it almost amusing that they had asked how we wanted it cooked., as there are only so many ways you can cook such a thin burger. It was also supposed to have an aoili sauce, but didnt. The bill: we ordered one beer and it was out so we ordered a different kind. Neither of the beers we ended up with was on the bill, but different ones were and they were priced differently. We just paid and left. Just really not the experience we were looking for. To improve: waitress and hostess(if that exists there) needs to be attentive. Ours just wanted to hang at the bar with the people from the party. Food: beef up your beef. It was seriously disappointing. Menu: staff should know the menu and be able to answer simple questions. Service overall: be attentive and give correct bill! Will not return-too many other places nearby that do it right.

The place is clean and open. The menu is limited. Because they don’t have a brewery license yet after six months, their beer selection is also limited. They are over staffed for the number of customers they have. The staff does not fully engage themselves with customers that they have the potential to. Not sure we will return. Disappointing because I would like to see them succeed.

We were there for a date night and were not impressed. The appetizer was burnt, the food was bad. We asked about different beers and the server didn’t know where they were or told us we couldn’t get it. I was charged 6.75 for a bottle of root beer. We will not go back

Visited this place and it wasn’t really that busy and we waited over 90 min for appetizers! Do not come here.

Waitstaff was clueless about the limited menu(had no idea how many ounces the burgers were and that’s most of the menu, also didn’t know what style of fries they had). Burgers were ordered medium and were both well done and dry from smashing the juices out while cooking. When voiced our concerns to the clueless waitress we met the 65 – 70 year old mousy manager that apologized but didn’t even offer a free refill on our beers to make up for the fact that our burgers were so dry they only had 1 – 2 bites out of them. We left after paying the full and tipping 20% hoping the waitress was new and couldn’t blame her for the food or bad management. Will be a tourist trap with little to no locals returning after their first try

Oh, how I wanted to like Leatherhead. Being Packer season ticket holders, we make the trek from Madison to Green Bay quite often. The loud, over-crowed bar/restaurants get to be a little under-whelming as the season drags on, so we were really looking forward to a new place to eat and hang-out with fellow fans before/after the game. First things first, they call themselves a brewery, BUT they don’t brew their own beer yet; we stopped in back in September and were told beer was being brewed, thus they’d be ready to tap in a few weeks. However, this visit we were told it was a licensing issue; I can understand a bit of a delay for a new business, though still it’s NOT a brewery if the tanks are empty! Despite being a little disappointed, they did have a nice draft beer list so we decided to stick around. The bartender was friendly-enough, but the place was obviously under-staffed and it showed in the service. I was happy to see they had a veggie burger and that was enough for us to order dinner. It should have been a red-flag when I over-heard the group sitting next to us question why it was taking over an hour to get their entrees, because it was the same for us. Now, this might have been forgivable for a busy football weekend had our food been spectacular; no such luck. Both our sandwiches were lukewarm, while our sides(tater-tots) were over-cooked.

Worst service ever. Waited for over an our after ordering to get my food. Sat down and watching people get their food who sat down 20 minutes after myself and a friend ordered. This is purely the kitchen fault. Not the server.

I rolled in around 11 and had the place and the bar tender to myself. I wanted the local flavor so Amy, my bartender, had the kitchen make up a brat, sour kraut sandwich and cheese curds and topped it off with a righteous brew. All good stuff. Good food and the service was wonderful –thus the 4 rating.

Very disappointed in this place. Food was very average and a little greasy! Service was ok. Older hostess was very friendly and more helpful then server.

Not even sure what to say about this train wreck. I’m still in shock about what just happened during our meal. First of all, our waitress was excellent. There were some obvious issues with the kitchen and bar getting our food brought out correctly, but she was great. She kept checking in, brought us drink refills without us having to ask, and kept apologizing for the delays with our food and drinks. By the end of the meal, she came to pick up the check — and was crying — and told us she had just been fired. She apologized, but said that her manager told her that she needed to finish her tables before she left. NOT. COOL. What kind of manager fires an employee mid-shift and then has them finish their tables?! Probably the kind of manager that 1) brought us the wrong appetizer when she was running food, 2) brought us another table’s check along with our own, 3) never came to see how our meal was, which should be a given if you’re having trouble with your server, 4) never came to apologize for our experience after our waitress was crying at our table, and 5) told the bartender that she was too busy running tickets to come talk to me when I asked to speak with a manager. Instead, once she finally did come out to talk to me, told me I didn’t know the whole story about the waitress and STILL didn’t apologize. Talk about a poorly managed establishment. From the kitchen and bar disorganization to the obvious employee issues and manager incompetence, I highly recommend avoiding this place. Judging from the lack of customers in the restaurant with us tonight, it seems like most people already know this.
