Nakashima of Japan

I had been to Nakashima of Japan for hibachi a few times, which was very good, but I didn’t fall in love until a friend brought me there for sushi! We sat in the bar area, which I had never been in before and I must say this place is awesome!
The bar area is a darker room with a giant squid sculpture hanging over the bar from the ceiling and they have jelly fish lamps over the booths! If you pay attention, you’ll notice the lamps change color too!
They have happy hour Monday-​Thursday, 4:30 pm-6:30 pm. During this time they have 30% off their original rolls! Talk about an AMAZING deal! I’ve had sushi at a few places around town, but this is by far my favorite! Every time I get the Fresh Philly Roll which is everything I want in sushi! They also have gluten free soy sauce, which I need. After my first time here, I brought three different friends over the next couple of months!
Even if you aren’t a sushi fan, I would still recommend stopping in for a drink, just to see how amazing the inside is! If you are a sushi fan, fair warning– this will be your new favorite spot!

We are in from California visiting family and came here for dinner tonight!!! AMAZING!!! Ty was awesome!!! He had us laughing the whole time and the food was great!!! From singing and dancing to fun food tricks to tasty food it was a great night!!! He kept my 8 year old completely entertained and the rest of us cracking up!!! He made tonight a highlight to our vacation!!! Our waitress was maddie has she was great too!!! Kept everything moving our drinks coming nice and fast!!! The next time we are in greenbay we will be back!!!

This place is very good JAPANESE for Green Bay.
There are three rooms. — a bar, a teppanyaki area and a sushi bar
We ate at the sushi bar with the sushi chef
The seared meats and fish were very good
The sashimi hamachi and maguro were divine and creamy
The sake nigiri was succulent
The scallop ceviche and hamachi with peppers were spectacular
The sake drinks were really dry yet fruity and tasty
I will be back when I come back next time

Place is clean and friendly. Waitress was very nice joked with us she was very enjoyable. Lighting is dim so if you wear glasses don’t forget them. Place over is outstanding.
