Taco John’s

I come here quite often and this was the best time by far. Quick service, great food. I don’t know what changes have been made but they are definitely going in the right direction. I will be going back!

I don’t get fast food a lot. Usually I will when I forget to pack my own lunch for work. I will admit though the Potato Olé’s are a guilty pleasure of mine. Otherwise the food is similar to Taco Bell, just a little more expensive.
I did want to share my most recent trip here. As soon as I walked in the cashier says to me, «Cool glasses, can I try them!» I let her try them and she said, «I have to wear these because my futre is so bright.» I actually thought that was funny. She was super friendly and even made suggestions of her favorite menu items. After getting my food she asked if she put enough love in the food. At first it creeped me out a little, but she was in such a happy mood, I didn’t care as she made me laugh and smile. It was a memorable event and I hope I see her again if I go there. Not many people in the fast food buisness are friendly.

Taco John’s. Let’s not Taco bout how John is not good at running a restaurant. They only had 1 cook working. It wasn’t even busy but It took him 20 minutes to make me ONE taco and there was waaaaaaayyyyy to much lettuce on it. All of their sauces tasted the same. And the food tasted like jet fuel capable of melting steel beams. If you want tacos go to Taco Bell don’t waste your hard earned money on these Disgusting tacos with too much lettuce on them.

fast food MISTAKE! Granted it’s not gourmet cuisine, however I do have some expectations when it comes to food on the run. This was my first time there and will be my last! Seriously words can’t even describe what I was served. I ordered a rice bowl. The manager forgot to put the chicken in, the beans were cold and it looked like rice soup. Also, it took 20 minutes to make it, while he proceeded to fill drive thru orders, and nobody was in the restaurant. When I went back to return it he started to tell the girl working there that I couldn’t return. I refused to accept that and he allowed her to give me my money back. Terrible experience I wish they had a no star box!

Now I worked at a taco johns when I was in high school and I was never rude to a customer ever. Last time I was here i was waiting for my to go order and I was the only one here so I figured my order would not be screwed up. But I over heard the girls in the kitchen saying «oh shit oh shit, that’s not right» but the one said «it’s okay just send it out it’s to go anyway» and she just gave me the bag as if I didn’t here what they said. Not cool guys, you should train your staff better. Also they never have anything stocked in the lobby so you have to ask for sauce and straws etc.

I wish I could give this restaurant 4 stars since I love the food– but the service sucks!!!
They have great breakfast burritos and I am willing to drive 8 miles one way to eat them but their service really lacks! have heard and seen the employees horse around and cuss, once I was at the order window right at 10:00 am and told that they were not serving breakfast (they stop at 10:00am but you wont give me a break!), once the order mic was not working and there was no sign there telling you that it was not working, once I was given the wrong order, once they were out of one kind of meat– when ever I visit I always wonder what will be next!

Taco tuesday!

My boyfriend and I had Taco Johns for lunch on our way to Michigan and it was pretty good. Their potato oles are the best by far. We will be stopping there again this year on our way up to Michigan again for breakfast. I wish there was one that was close to home!
