Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe

After driving by countless times I finally just had to stop in. Got myself 2 bagels and a glazed donut. I actually asked for a sugar-​coated but I guess she grabbed a glazed by mistake, fortunately I love glazed just as much so meh whatever. =b
Blown away. The bagels are so fluffy and airy that those of used to other bagels may initially be off-​put by them but wow… delicious. I generally prefer super flaky donuts to the cakey ones, this one was like right in the middle and SOOO GOOD! I ate one of my bagels and decided why not I’ll cut a bite off the donut to try it quick… well after getting a fork and knife dirty for my taste test a minute later I just grabbed the whole thing and ate it! It was THAT good!
Even stopping in at 3pm my donut and bagels were super fresh! I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. I will definitely be stopping in to try their other products. I’m very interested in trying their soups and kind of wish I had spent more time just gazing into the display counter to see what else looked good. A kringle is definitely on my list as well!
Absolutely will update this review later after I’m able to try more. I’m going 4 stars for now but if everything else is as good as my first experience I have a feeling it will increase to 5. Can’t go 5 on a bakery until I try their breads and pie! lol But still, my donut and bagels were so good I had to put up a great review immediately!

Will try to add more details later, however, after a couple return visits I have not been disappointed yet. Therefore my rating has been increased from 4 to 5 stars.

You won’t get better baked goods than Uncle Mikes. Always creative, delicious, and fun. Can’t go wrong with anything, but they excel at the donuts, cookies, and breads. Don’t miss out on the breakfast sandwich either. Great local family-​owned favorite.

Best Kringle in N. America… Guess you just can’t beat the damn Norwegians!
Everything is good here, not just the Kringle! I love the chocolate chips cookies that have sea salt on them. Very addictive.
Also make sure to try their Chicken Salad. Top notch!

This is the best bakery I have been to.
Free samples to taste, you could easily fill up just trying each one.
Donuts are good, as are the specialty breads. The staff is all really nice too!

I bought a bunch of bars to bring to work as a treat. They were a HUGE HIT and the first thing to disappear. These are by far the BEST bars I have ever tasted!!!
I noticed a lot of different breads behind the counter that I will be coming back to try and the free samples on the counter were a nice touch, although I did not have time to try them or browse around much.
This was my first time at your store and you definitely have a returning customer after tasting your treats. Simply spectacular!!!
