Taste of Jamaica

Only been there once, would go back if I’m ever in the area.
The jerk chkn, rice, and fried plantains were delicious.
The conch fritters were ok, prefer more conch and less fritter.
Service was friendly enough.

I have eaten here 3 more times since my initial review. The only thing keeping me coming back is the food.
The service is horrible and the time it actually takes to get the food is unbearably long.
Typically when I give my drink order (water) I get it right away. At this establishment, you may wait ten minutes.
The menu states that anything involving shrimp is cooked to order, but on average it takes 45 minutes to get the food. I think this is excessive when there is only one other group, and they are actually finishing their meal as we are entering.
Thats not the end of it, it can take 15 minutes to get the bill, give my credit card, and get it back. I don’t know what takes so long to check out.
If time is not an issue, this is an excellent place to eat. But if you have an appointment, meeting, or want to eat quickly, go elsewhere.
The employees are very friendly and nice, its just the length of time that it takes for everything, that is the reason for 2 stars.

The food was excellent, the service, 100% better than when they first opened, great improvement! Told myself I wasn’t going to return after the first time because the service was slow, but my friend talked me into going back since she never had any Jamaican food since she moved to Florida. I gave in and I must say I was more than impressed. I will definitely return. Great service guys!!!

We had jerk chicken, jerk ribs, curry goat and curry chicken and all four of us loved their meal ! Very good Jamaican Food, try it out !!
