Love this place. Food and drinks are delicious and service is great! The root beer floats are so yummy. Scones, sticky buns as well as soups and sandwiches all made on site. Prices are excellent. A great place to sit and chat and enjoy good company

Great little hang-out. Good pasteries/cakes and wonderful staff and service. The morning glory cakes are really good and the iced tea is perfect with free refills. A nice place to sit and relax for a bit.

Drinks: 4.5 Food/Pastries: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Cleanliness: 5 If I could give a bonus star for the all star service, live piano player in the mornings, the spacious atmosphere and cleanliness I would. This place is a pleasure to visit, especially first thing in the morning, because the staff is so chipper and sincerely care about your morning experience. For being at the epicenter of a huge retirement community, La Posada, they get a lot of customers and attention and appear to handle it well havering plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and even various rooms to kick back in, with tables chairs and even a couple cozy leather loungers. Now why the 0.5 star deduction? They have a little itty bitty trouble making cappuccinos, particularly with almond milk. As a former barista, I can tell you, it’s not the almond milk. They are made a touch too hot and the barista needs a touch more practice, training or technique. The great thing is I don’t mind lattes because that’s what you get. At least the espresso was marvelous, smooth and bold which makes the rest easier to swallow… It’s incredible what amazing service can do! It makes you want to be an amazing customer right back. I love this space! There is art hung throughout the café walls and even and art gallery connected off to the side right next to the pianist going to town on the keys with jazzy yet uplifting tunes. My guess is if you walk in grumpy to this place, there is no way you can justify leaving without a smile on your face. Would I return? Absolutely!

Super nice people. A modest selection of coffees. Beautiful building in a nice setting. Lots of seating. The baked goods are ok. I’m nice place to bring guests to who are visiting Green Valley. I recommend the second hand store that is right mix by for a good selection of used furnishings and furniture.

Sweet service and good coffee always makes the day start bright! The space is airy and light with lots of places to sit. I occasionally enjoy a fresh baked treat. I have met friends here and although the atmosphere is mellow it sometimes is a bit too noisy. I would suggest this spot for anyone that wants coffee, a sweet breakfast goodie or quiche. Take time for viewing the latest art showing and listening to live piano music that is often playing

My family and I stop at Posada Java every time we make a visit to Madera Canyon. My daughters and I always share a smoothie(wild berry), and a pastry. My husband enjoys the coffee(alternates between hot and iced). Service is always friendly and quick.

We found this place on Unilocal. When we arrived, a local 5 piece acoustic band was playing blues. They were really good, playing tunes like Pencil thin mustache and I’m a Steamroller baby. They play Tuesdays 10 am-12 pm. We enjoyed the music while we drank espresso and ate our quiche and pastries. There’s outdoor and indoor seating. I can understand why one reviewer said they got his order wrong. Our cashier was over 75 and a little slow, but hey, it’s Green Valley.

My friends and I usually stop in here after an hour of bicycling. It has a friendly, relaxed, ‘neighborhood’ atmosphere which I like. I usually get a sugar-free latte, and many of my friends enjoy the baked goods, particularly the sticky buns. There is a nice patio to sit outside in the shade. I have always found it very clean and never ‘bad-smelling’, so I don’t know what to make of Kelly’s review.

We stop in for coffee and snacks after bike rides up Madera Canyon once or twice a week. The coffee is excellent, the baked goods amazing, the service is as friendly as it gets. The setting is lovely, especially with the new round room. There are also more than one outdoor sitting options. On some days there is live music. The added quiches and chili are great when you don’t want sweets. Great place.

This coffee place is perfectly situated just outside of Madera Canyon. It has a nice outdoor seating area and is spacious inside with an art gallery. Unfortunately, when I went it smelled bad inside and one look at the sad looking baked good and I decided not to stay.
