I ordered food to go due to the size of the restaurant which is typical for this area. I was really happy with the portions and the food was really tasty. I ordered for 7 people and we all shared everything so we could try it all out. The Phở was really tasty and satisfying, Vietnamese fried rice, spring rolls, pad tai, and steamed dumplings. All were really good! Will be back

What a great little restaurant! 4 friends and I enjoyed lunch here and everything was excellent. I had shrimp and broccoli, which came with rice(I chose fried), a cup of soup, and a yummy little egg roll — absolutely delicious and under $ 7! 2 friends had a tofu dish, another the chicken and cashew special, and the other had chicken curry. We cleaned our plates! Service was perfect too — our busy waitress was friendly and helpful. We are here at another friend’s recommendation and are glad we did.

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and it was empty. We decided to have the fresh shrimp spring rolls and saigon fried shrimp. They were both tasty. I will have to come back and taste their main dishes.

The food was ok. would I go back yes I had spicy pad Thai. Again was ok more like a food court version. The Thai iced tea was terrible. The wait staff was good. I debated on a 2 or three star but because I had just one dish would wait and update review at another time.

when we first came in there was a 3 people dining and no server around. We sat ourselves which was fine because it’s a small restaurant. We ordered waters and that took awhile before the waitress finally brought them. We ordered egg rolls and fried shrimp for an appetizer, they were pretty decent, although I wasn’t really a fan of the shrimp because it was wrapped up and fried, I guess not quite what I was expecting. For dinner I ordered the fried rice with beef, it was just okay, I really expected this to be better for Vietnamese food. There was only one server and I never got a refill on my water. I don’t have any other Vietnamese restaurants to compare this to in Green Valley, but in Denver, the rice plates are off the chain!

90% of my visits here have ended with the same dish; Pad Thai with Tofu, served extra spicy. 100% of all of my visits here have ended with a very full stomach and the happiest taste buds. From the lemongrass chicken to the tom yum soup, everything I’ve tried here has been consistently delicious and of a high quality. At one point in time my family and I would frequent here(pretty much for the pad thai alone) and now my visits have become few and sparse in between because I live in NW Tucson. Admittedly, I wish I still lived closer!

Did take-out. The dining area is not that impressive, but the food was very tasty and fresh. Very surprised and will definitely order out again. You can also order online which makes it very convenient

Never had tough tofu before. Service slow which is understandable at lunchtime but he could at least say something about your appetizer will be coming up shortly rather than just walking by us for 15 mins straight. — — — -note I started writing this review last year. But today I took advantage of their fantastic online ordering service — i LOVE it… super-easy and quick and they actually made everything with 15 minutes notice. So while I don’t know about how anything within the restaurant might’ve changed, the new online ordering is huge. I’ll be using it again! And I’ll probably update this review in a couple of weeks.

Great food and service. The Phở was very flavorful. we loved the spring rolls, dumplings, and egg rolls. My son had the beef and broccoli. It was very good and the beef was very tender. A hidden gem in Green Valley.

*sad whimper* This place is so lovely, and I appreciate that is is family-owned. Walking inside, I just knew — was so confident — that I would be giving the place at least a four-star rating. I was promptly greeted and provided immediate service. I like the casual air of the space. With gentle music playing from the back, it has a nice, relaxing feel. But beware the front door, it slams loudly. But the food was not enjoyable. I had a small appetite, so I went with an order of combination spring roll, which included shrimp and pork, and the calamari. First of all, it took 20 minutes to get two appetizers. I started to make up all sorts of things: Everything is über fresh, so the fresh is taking extra care; the chef is handling the calamari with such gentle care, ensuring that the seasoning is on every single millimeter of the squid. I found that the spring rolls had begun to dry out by the time it arrived. The pork and shrimp were both delicious, but the peanut sauce accompanying the appetizer was entirely too sweet and thick. I couldn’t enjoy it, preferring to eat the rolls alone. That helped the flavor. The calamari was served with bits of lettuce and… mayo? I was trying to figure out the mystery sauce, but eventually gave up. It did not complement the calamari well. But the lettuce did! Fresh, crisp lettuce. However, the calamari carried too much batter. And it seemed like a batter you would use for chicken. What an unusual flavor. But the menu is quite extensive. Please give it a go. Of note, the phở dishes are offered in small and large ranging in cost from $ 7.95 to $ 8.95. And the phở offerings include tripe meatball, flank steak, chicken, imitation crap and shrimp. They also carry vermicelli curry chicken soup at less than $ 9, various soups at up to $ 9.50 and dinner specials up to $ 13, including walnut crystal shrimp, crispy noodle stir fried vegetables and seafood, stir fried scallops, egg noddles stir fried with vegetables and orange beef, among many other things. Lunch specials are served Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and cost no more than $ 7. Options include beef, chicken, pork, shrimp and vegetarian dishes. Lots of stir fried dishes, but also curried tofu, shrimp tomato sauce with vegetables and lemon grass chicken. Very extensive menu, with lots to offer for vegetarians as well.

The sad fact is that no Asian restaurant in this part of the country can NOT serve Chinese dishes. .. even if the owners/cooks are from some other part of Asia. This is a Vietnamese restaurant. If you come here, you should probably stick to Vietnamese food. At least don’t complain if you order something else and don’t like it. There’s a Chinese place a few doors down, actually, and if I wanted Chinese I’d go there. So, based on the Vietnamese menu only, I give it 4 stars. That’s a relative rating. Unilocal says that means I’m a fan and I am. .. because I’m a «snow bird» from San Francisco and I yearn for the Asian food at «home» but I’m not going to get it in southern AZ and this place comes close enough to satisfy. Usually when I go there I get Phở. I love just about all varieties of Asian noodles. The phở here is just fine. Not the best I’ve ever had, but good and tasty and hot. I strongly recommend this place as an alternative to the ubiquitous Mexican places, especially for lunch, if you are in the area. But stick to Vietnamese.

Service good, atmosphere decent and clean, food undecided … I ordered sesame chicken the chicken was undercooked and pink I sent to back but I was paranoid the whole time, i would’ve enjoyed it if I didn’t feel like I had to Inspect every bite. Would I come back? Maybe, but not anytime soon

I have eaten vietnamase food once before so I am not sure my review is fair and we took our food to-go. I had the special Phở and initially it was too greasy. I added all the ingredients ans it was ok. After about 20 once it cooled down and the ingredients sat for a while it was better. We also had the sesame chicken which was just ok. Fried rice was an extra charge and the portion was small, sound have stayed with white rice. Will try this restaurant again but not anytime soon.

Nice people. Food has lots of tangy vinegar. Could not finish my meal … There went $ 10 in the garbage. But I did not want to get sick.

I can honestly say it is the best vietnamese food place I have eaten at in green valley, It is the only vietnamese place I have eaten at in green valley so I guess that is a pretty low bar. Look I love vietnamese and have driven several hundred miles to get vietnamese sausage stuffed fried quail. So Yeah I am going to be a bit harsh. Their soup was very shallot dominated in its flavor(this is coming from a guy who makes his own dried shallot powder for cooking at home) although I do give them a lot of credit for using real glass noodles. Unfortunately they have no clue how to cook tofu there. If you dont season it then fry it good(let it get a crust) dont under cook unseasoned tofu. And the tofu lemongrass vermicelli had under cooked tofu and a quite weak flavor profile(no heat no nothing) for a lemongrass stir fry. Also the noodles in my bun(I will call it by its real name) were either old and drying back out or simply not cooked long enough, so it was meah.(I have had worse) Special lady friend’s dad ordered the special catfish dish, which the waitress had to go out front and look at the white board in the window as she didnt realize that they had such a special, then she had to go back out again to figure out what were talking about when we asked for their Japanese(nori) spring roll. The catfish dish was agreed upon to be very good, and being that the mekong river is full of them I would hope the vietnamese know how to cook them and I feel like it should be on more menus.(even though I hate cooked fish and avoid it like the pelage) The«japanese spring roll» was a spring roll with a sheet of soggy ass nori in it. interesting but unless you LOVE nori I would suggest passing on it. all in all very ok, not bad, not great: and too all that love this place try snow peas at 24th and craycoft when in tucson, or Com Tom in the lee lee shopping center(orange grove and la cholla). They are both at least one star better. Seriously where can I find a GOOD Bhan mi in southern AZ.

I enjoyed my lemongrass beef. The flavors were fresh, which frankly, in this empty part of Arizona, is pretty impressive. The menu was huge and the service fantastic.
